Product Description Some vehicles call for speakers to be surface-mounted, rather than flush-mounted. Pioneer's line of surface-mounted speakers offers a range of speaker configurations and sizes to fit your vehicle- and your wallet. Set Contains: 2 x TS-X200 speaker units.

Review: Decent highs - No bass (not surprising), but decent midrange and highs. Mounting them in a pain if you aren't putting them on the back deck of a sedan, though. I wanted them for the hatchback of an SUV, and they're very difficult to mount. I also tried to bungee them down, but the casing is curved so it's very difficult to keep bunges from sliding off. Ended up using mini cargo nets to hold them down... speaker wire is also WAY too thin, and you can't upgrade because there are no wire-clips on the back of these speakers, the wire goes into a hole in the back and is permanent.

**Q: what is the capacity**
A: No idea what the specific capacity might be but certainly more than I could listen to mounted in the rear window tray in an older 4 door Mercedes.

**Q: Can these be turned upside-down and mounted on the ceiling?**
A: Yes they can be mounted upside down

**Q: Can I connect these directly to my aftermarket headunit?**
A: yes they can be wired directly to your unit sound is pretty good also.

**Q: Are these water proof?**
A: spray conformal silicone on the interior electronics and both sides of the woofer and midrange speakers.  leave the tweeters as-is except spray the tweeter terminals.
