Caught my dog playing with 2 basement roaches at 5 AM. I never see roaches during the day so I was shocked. They say if you see roaches during the day that means the infestation could be pretty bad. My dog got caught in a trap before the roaches had a chance- so make sure you aren't putting these down where your pets are. That said, he ate the bait and he was fine - so if you're also panicking about a dog eating bait don't worry. The benefit of nontoxic bait - very pet safe!Caught the 2 suckers 2 days later after ordering this on Amazon immediately. It's so nice to have this as an option because I had a feeling about where they were hiding, but it would've involved moving heavy furniture to get them. Cleaned and scoured everywhere possible. But they were smart! I think I will leave one of these out with the gate up at least once a month just to catch anything that might come through. Great way of seeing if you have an infestation. I'm so happy I bought these because I hate the idea of putting down roach bait that just poisons them so I have to find them in a weird corner all dead when I move out of my apartment. Gross! Hit the suckers with some raid and threw it out. I didn't even set up the trap properly and it still worked! I also broke the rules and opened the bait bag and spread it around, so you can kinda do whatever and these will work.

There are incredible amounts of cockroach repellent products available. I'll be honest I purchased this one because it was one of the least expensive. I have cleaned my home inside and out with massive amounts of soap, water, bleach, sweeping. You name it I've done it. Still I'm seeing cockroaches. Don't keep food out. No water just sitting. So I purchased this product to help ... WOW!!! I'M NOT EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY I SET TWO OF THESE OUTSIDE BY MY BACK DOOR. AND WHEN I WENT OUT FOLLOWING MORNING THEY WERE COMPLETELY FILLED. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS BUT BOY DOES IT EVER.!!!!! REALLY GOT TO BUY THIS!!!*******The story continues with additional purchases of this product. If you are having any slight to aggressively infestation of cockroaches, you must buy this product without delay! It's as if when I checked the traps the next day the Cockroach fairy has dumped a bag of cockroaches inside this little box. Saw 2 roaches in my house and immediately went to battle. Everything I read online said roaches are almost impossible to get rid of. But let me just say this- The faster you react, the better your chances are at stopping an infestation. I ordered these sticky traps along with kill bait (they look like little ant houses that have bait on the inside that the roaches eat and take back to their nest) The sticky traps gave me an idea of how many we were dealing with and the kill bait helped to fight them passively. Between these 2 things, I was able to stop my house from getting infested. I only caught a few roaches on the traps and then didn't see any for a couple of weeks. Out of nowhere 1 or 2 more appeared again so I kept the bait traps down and just waited. Shortly after that, they were all gone. I got lucky and caught it quick, so don't wait too long to start fighting back. It's been almost 6 months since the last time I saw one in my house.

These are great traps and are easy to put together. They are quite expensive, but did the trick. We didn’t have an infestation last summer, and only had a few around, but these traps helped rid of them totally. The traps also caught other small bugs that we weren’t expecting. When it’s so hot and humid, there are many small insects to get rid of if! I would recommend them!

I had seen an occasional roach in the kitchen so I bought these traps. I put one under the refrigerator and one under the oven. On the first night I found 2 roaches in the one under the refrigerator, then another 2 on the second night. A week later there are now 7 big roaches and a handful of very small ones in the trap under the refrigerator and none in the trap under the oven. So yes, they do work well, but you have to catch the roaches where they are.The ones I caught may have found the trap under the oven if they hadn't been trapped under the refrigerator.I did notice that my dog sniffed the bait and was very interested in the traps, so be sure to put then away from where your dog can reach. I couldn't smell the bait at all.

Had some doubts that this would work since it's such a simple idea. I had seen a roach zipping around in the closet (connect to the bathroom) and I was so concerned with it going into my clothes. Set this trap up and left it in the corner and forgot about it for a few days. Had the courage to check with a flashlight and lo and behold, the roach fell for the trap! Thank goodness.It was a medium size roach so it works; I did see a giant one in the kitchen and left one under the fridge, so hoping it did the trick. But so far satisfied!
