KIDS - Powerful and passionate, colorful and compelling, Larry Clark's KIDS is 24 frenetic hours in the life of a group of contemporary teenagers who, like all teenagers, believe they are invincible. With breathtaking images from one of the world's most renowned photographers, KIDS is a deeply affecting, no-holds-barred landscape of words and images, depicting with raw honesty the experiences, attitudes and uncertainties of innocence lost. KIDS gets under the skin and lingers, long after it is viewed. The kids at the core of the story are just that: teenagers living in the urban melee of modern-day America. But while these kids dwell in the big city, their story could, quite possibly, happen anywhere. THE RULES OF ATTRACTION - Forget everything you thought you knew about higher education. Academy Award-winning writer/director Roger Avary masterfully takes you back to school and drops you in the middle of the drugged-out, sexed-up lives of some of Camden College's most disaffected students. Meet Sean Bateman (James Van Der Beek), a womanizing drug dealer whose quest for a connection brings him face-to-face with Lauren (Shannyn Sossamon), a sensitive virgin looking for love but saving herself for the much sought-after Victor (Kip Pardue). All the while Paul Denton (Ian Somerhalder) wants to make a connection of his own...with Sean. Based on the best-selling novel by Bret Easton Ellis' darkly funny satire of life, love and the pursuit of social debauchery.

A more affordable option to acquire Kids.
This is a more affordable option to acquire Kids. One side has Kids, the other side has Rules of Attraction. Kids is at best a film student grade movie. The film was cheap and gritty. It is mostly shot hand-held style. The soundtrack, locations, and wardrobe are simplified. If you liked Bully, or other movies by Larry Clark, you will most likely enjoy Kids. Beware that it is NOT kid friendly. It has a lot of profanity, violence, drugs, alcohol, and an extended rape scene.Rules of Attraction is done more in the style of an arthouse or independent film. It has a better soundtrack, locations, wardrobe, etc. The filming is shot far better. The plot follows a sexual predator's year through college. Once again, this is not a kid friendly film because it covers, sex, profanity, suicide, drugs, alcohol, and has a lot of nudity.Neither film is mainstream. I suggest either knowing that you like Larry Clark films, or renting or streaming the films before you make the commitment of purchasing them.

Strange Combo
I bought this to replace my VHS copy of Kids. I am guessing that the original Kids DVD must have been discontinued as this was the only economical way to purchase it. I have no idea about the movie Rules of Attraction and might not ever watch it. The movie Kids however is a very important time capsule to understand the life of Tweens in the inner city. I highly recommend this film to anyone who ever wanted to live in a metropolis and have children of their own. It exhibits a bit of how they think and what legnths they will go to for being accepted and part of the crowd.

Only came with one movie!
This came with only The Rules of Attraction. I was hoping to receive Kids and was disappointed since it was advertised as a two pack. Watch out for this seller since they falsely advertise and steal your money.
