It's cute and fits in my theme room and works perfectly well
I love this phone. I use it with a cell 2 Jack so my mobile can ring it and I can ring through my mobile using it as a regular phone. I just wanted something nostalgic and as a prop in a theme room that I have. overall the volume seems good. the clarity seems good. it's super easy to use so functionality is perfect. the ringtone is loud. the phone quality is sufficient considering it's a replica made of plastic and I love the cha-ching. when I drop coins in there, I use it as a little piggy bank for that reason.

Retro Style with Modern Convenience
I grew up seeing phones like this, so having one in the house is a fun throwback. It looks authentic and adds a great vintage touch to our décor. The push-button technology makes it practical for everyday use. Solid build and great conversation piece—our grandkids think it’s the coolest thing. It was so easy to set up and control the volume.

Very cool!!!
Perfect for vintage lovers! It came tightly packaged to prevent damage, it comes with wall installation materials, has a ringer you can turn on/off. My kid loves that you can put real coins in (but not required) and the it looks heavy without actually being heavy! Easy to use & functional!

Cute
We got this because my wife likes the color for the kitchen. It's very attractive. When you put a coin in, it makes a chirping sound like the old phones did. How long that will last is unclear, as others have pointed out. You don't need a coin to operate the phone; it's just for play and is a quaint feature. It comes with two keys to open the coin tray, which is essentially a bank. This could be fun with kids as a piggy bank. The handset is solid, like the real ones, and the cord stretches about 11 feet. That's pretty darned good. The downside? 1. It's push button, not rotary. Where the 1 and 2 are on real pay phones, you'll find the * and #, and 1-9 starts where the 3 is. 2. It's made of very cheap plastic, not the metal you find on the real deal. But you'll only notice that when you lift it, which should only be once for mounting. In use, you don't notice this at all. It's an attractive ornamental piece, with very good sound quality. If you like the way it looks on this site, you'll love it in your kitchen. It is a quality working phone; it was a conversation piece at our annual T-giving family dinner for sure.

Beautiful Vintage Style Pay Phone
I envisioned a red lan-line phone in my kitchen to match the vintage style I have created. I just purchased and received this red pay phone. It fits my kitchen wall and theme perfectly! This phone brings back all of the fun childhood memories I had calling my grandma and classmates. The only difference is it looks like a rotary phone but it has push button features instead. Not a deal breaker for me. The sounds of the coins dropping into the phone bank is also an added feature I remembered and loved. The phone looks heavier than it really is, but the receiver is the heaviest part of the phone. I hope the specialized features on this phone last throughout the LONG lifetime of the phone. We shall see. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

great idea and cute phone with a couple little issues... coins get stuck and key lock doesn't work right.
super cute, working telephone... It dials out without having to insert a coin. I do wish it was a rotary dial... the numbers are just push button... The button to the right of the dial doesn't do anything and there is no coin return on the lower left... it just looks like one. **The coins all just go into the locked compartment on the lower right but they are frequently jamming inside the phone and I have to shake the phone upside down to loosen the jammed coins. **The lock is pretty cheap and only occasionally works if I put a paper clip in first to straighten it out. Even with those issues I still like it but for the price it should be higher quality

I thought it was priced a bit high but it’s a delightful addition of whimsy to my media room although it is not plugged in for use.

This was a present for my daughter. I thought it would serve as a double purpose, fun telephone for her room and a money box. After keeping it stored until her birthday, and missing the Amazon return window, she opened the packaging only to find that the key does not open the coin box, rendering it useless. Very frustrating and I will be advising all that ask to avoid this product and amazon.
