good blinds just be careful with installing
good at sun-blocking but here are some important words of advice. the installation instructions link to a non-existent website, but all you have to do is cut them to the exact size and then pop them in. i also added 2 screws and drilled pilot holes while the blinds were already up and pulled all the way down as other reviews suggested. they do not really indicate which side is outside/inside but there definitely is an outside/inside. you want the shiny side pointed out. light comes in the sides a little, so if you don't have curtains on the sides of the window there will be some light bleed. they are very tedious to cut, just make sure you have a sharp non-serated knife. serated will make a mess

Fell off after only a week
I purchased this product for my toddlers room as he has a streetlight right outside his room. We received the product on April 1st and put them up promptly. The instructions on how to measure and cut the blinds were not too difficult but not super clear. We installed them the same day and were happy with how they looked and how well they kept out the light (both at night and in the afternoon for his naps). A day or 2 later we noticed the blinds themselves were starting to 'sag' on to one side... this was after only 3 or 4 uses. We figured it was just a minor esthetical issue that we could deal with as long as it does the job. we then started to notice that the blinds were peeling from the top of the frame, and it was damaging the actual fabric. Exactly a week after installing these blinds, they fell off the frame after having to reinforce several time though out that 5-6 day period. We are very disappointed as it took us quite a while to find the right size blinds for the window, with a decent neutral colour, 'easy' to install, and easy to use. Our toddler is now not able to sleep in his room due to the amount of light that is entering and we are scrambling to find a decent alternative, especially considering the circumstance. As the blinds have fallen multiple times now, they have become damaged and will no longer stay adhered to the frame. We are very disappointed and would not recommend this blinds.

Effictive length 55" not 64"
The Good -The blinds were very easy to install. They block light very very easily. The Meh -The cutting process wasn't great. The plastic is very brittle and started to split at the bottom. However it wasn't anything that was too noticeable and the plug prevents it from being a major issue. The Bad -This is a 60" blind It claims to be 60"- 64" It is technically that size how ever you will not get it to get to that length. It was place in a 58" square window and could not reach the bottom and stay at length pulling up about 3 inches. Which means it can not effectively cover more than 55" 9" less than is claimed. That is a significant difference. I was prepared for that, as such I am satisfied with it however if you need it in a window longer than 55" the blind does not have enough weight at the bottom to counter the pull of the accordion design initially. Had the pull back been another inch I may have been looking for a refund. The Unknown - as it uses adhesive I do not know how long or how well it will hold. I have had issues in the past with even 3M adhesive not standing up to the wild and varied temperature and humidity changes in Niagara. The Missing the Cut Guide was missing from the package making sizing it a little more difficult particularly at just a 2" trim.

HAPPY!
This blind quality is better than I have expected. It is quite sturdy but pretty light for a female to hang it up on the wall. I have it covered for my East side window which blackouts the sunlight very well for the early morning. My room temperature went down about 2-3 degrees after it's installed. I was lucky enough not having to trim the width as it fits perfectly. Length though is not long enough. I had to use a velcro tape as the glue was not strong enough. It's very well packaged and arrived the next day. Overall it's a great product for the value!! If you are looking for an easy installation, blackout, well made blind: this is the ONE!

Best shades I've purchased yet.
Pros:+ Inexpensive compared to most window covering options.+ Can easily trim to a custom size.+ Easy to install without ruining window frames/walls with mounting brackets.+ Smooth operation up/down without cumbersome cords.+ Blocks out sun very well.Cons:- Cannot be fully deployed down with open window, cause the air flow will push/pull on them.- Mine is sagging/drooping to one side and there's no way to fix it. This is the only reason these aren't rated 5 stars. Even with this being a "problem" I will continue to replace my window shades with these ones in the future.
