Perfect for Galago Pro by System76
I decided to fix my old broken laptop. I knew the battery was dead but I didn't think it was this easy. After taking out the keyboard screws from the bottom (marked) I popped out the keyboard by pushing through the keyboard push hole. Keyboard popped right off! With the keyboard removed there are 3 silver screws from under the keyboard and many black screws from the underside of the computer. Removing all these exposes the motherboard... and the swollen battery pack!Replacing this pack was as easy as removing 4 additional screws, unplugging the swollen battery, and replacing it.The longest step in the battery replacement is going to be fully discharging and fully charging the battery 3 times before normal use - per the instructions. In the pack there are three 3.8v Li-Ion batteries measuring about 7mm thick, 70mm long, and 65mm wide all connected to a management board. I at first thought I'd replace all 3 of these 3.8v batteries. I however found no perfect size batteries anywhere I looked. This pack is $50 and if I did find a 3.8 battery that would fit it still would cost me $10-15 each and thus costing me about the same.Battery came charged to 90%. A little high... but it's way better than too drained to charge.I'm very happy so far, thanks!

Faulty Workmanship
After 5 months, two red wires detached from the inside of the battery. It looks like special tooling is needed to repair it. The battery no longer works.

New battery could not be charged
I ordered this battery as a replacement for the N130BAT-3 in my System76 laptop. After installing it, it would show "charging" status, but percent would never go above 0% (tried under both Linux and Windows), so it seems a got a defective one that won't hold a charge. One suspicious thing is that although the replacement battery says N130BAT-3, the connector wire cables are different colors (red, red, white, yellow, green, black, black as shown in the first image) but with the original battery and the image shown in the seller's listing, colors are red, red, white, blue, yellow, black, black.Currently trying to return it and find a different vendor.
