I purchased this plate holder because the screws on my BMW factory plate holder would not unscrew, they rusted to the nuts in the holder. The nuts are recessed in the plastic on the plate holder so there was no way to get a wrench on it. The JoyTutus rear plate holder is of better quality then the factory plate holder and at half the price. Came with all the parts and tools required for mounting and fit perfectly and putting my plate on it was effortless. Like the idea of a brass nut instead of steel so the nut and bolt wont rust shut. Security screws is also a nice touch for the added security. I would definitely recommend and purchase this again.

Product was intact when delivered. Came in a bubble pack with no instructions just plastic mounting plate and a bag with 2 screws, 4 bolts, a special Allen key and 6 washers. I learned the hard way that there is a 'right side up' to the plastic mounting plate to be installed on the rear of my 2010 528i BMW. (so when you remove the OEM one, pay attention to the fact that the 'straight' edge is to be at the top. Once determined that, it was simple to install. I needed to buy from Home Depot four longer bolts since I have a clear, plastic. protective cover over the actual licence plate.

Shipping was delayed a day but they used Canada post. Amazon refunded the extra $ I paid for 2 day delivery which was nice. Only gripe I have is that the 4 screws to secure the plate that came with product are too short. Unable to use them if you plan on using a plate cover or similar item. I had to purchase 4 longer screws that worked well! Overall, good product and it got my 2012 x3.

Product works as described, fit perfect on my 2006 Cooper S, bolts hold the license plate perfectly well. Not exactly “anti theft” just torx head screws. I would like the back bumpers that are against the vehicle to be rubber rather than hard plastic and they will scratch the paint.

Looks exactly like my oem one. Fits perfect. My old one rusted at the screws because it has no protection between the back nut and car but a piece of felt. This one is covered by the plastic frame. Less chance of it rusting and half the price of oem, Very happy with purchase.
