Tide Free & Gentle, 95 Oz

In my standard top-loading washer, Tide powder works just as good as liquid. I switched from powder to liquid way back in the 1990s because it was always leaving clumps of powder on my clothes, but I decided to try a box of Tide powder in 2023 to see if it had gotten any better in 25 years. It definitely has. No problem with the powder dissolving. And it's just as hypoallergenic as Tide Free & Gentle liquid and pods, and cleans just as well too. I was looking for a way to use less plastic, but it's not really feasible to ship Tide Pods in a cardboard box because they do leak sometimes. So the only option for cardboard boxes is powder. And I'm here to tell you, Tide powder in 2023 is not the same clumpy mess it was in 1998. It's much improved, cleans as well as any Tide liquid, and the only plastic in the box is the scoop (which is about 1/50th as much plastic as a bottle of Tide liquid uses). EDIT: According to the manufacturer, Tide Free & Gentle Powder has been discontinued. I'll be looking for an alternative.

This is a great cleaning product for people with well water. I use it for dirty clothes only because the cost has gone waayyyyy toooooo high.

This product seems to work great. I bought it to get away from liquid detergent with animal fat surfactant that makes me have to take my LG washer apart to clean the boot - a three hour job. I don't use as much as recommended and it still does a great job. I will update this post when I notice that my clothes don't smell ten minutes into my workouts after about six months or so. Also it has absolutely no smell at all, I will use it on my camo for sure. Absolutely has the HE turbo symbol on it so don't worry about that. Buy it you will be satisfied UPDATE: Five months into the use of this product and there is no build up at all in the drain holes of my LG washer seal boot and my clothes don't smell five minutes after I get to the gym. Hopefully i will never have to re-build this thing ever again! i use way less than the recommend and get great results.
