funky looking stuff. Costs more than it is worth to send them back. I gave mine away to the church and they looked gut shot when they opened the package and saw what I had given them. They raffled them off for thirty-five bucks. Oh..they were sharp. I used one to drain a boil on my thigh and was so grossed out by it, I tossed that knife in the trash.

I bought my first set of Cutco knives about 15 years ago. Today I am still using those same knives, which have not needed to be sent back to the company for any reason. I am 75 years old and believe me in my 50 years of marriage I have used many a flea market knife all of which I have thrown in the garbage because they didn't work as advertised. I also have given sets to family members who would gladly echo this review. I doubt any knife has been manufactured to perform as surgical instruments.

Attractive and quality cutlery. Always dependable. I have owned mine for over two years and they are still sharp and ready to use when I need them.
