#1 Most Absorbable Organic Gelatinized Maca Root Powder

This stuff is GREAT. I've been taking it for about a month now and I've noticed such a huge different in everything from my sleep, to my energy, and even to my attitude. I actually love the taste and put it in my coffee every morning. I've tried a couple recipes and they've all turned out fantastic. My husband loves it too. The resealable bag is nice and it got here quick. I've tried other maca powders and I got a little queasy and had some odd cramping, and I didn't get this with this product. Definitely recommending it!

Pretty good taste, but bad sandy texture. I feel though this product has been overly rated. First of all, it was poorly packaged- the entire package was wrinkled up, and it's outer layer had already been peeled off when I received it. It is slightly sweet and has a taste that's between nuts and turnips-which is okay. But I don't like the texture after it is dissolved in my mouth or coffee. It makes my throat feel scratchy and uncomfortable - feels as if I am about to lose my voice trying to get the sand out of my throat. I have taken it for 3 weeks every morning, but I haven't feel the effect yet. However, I don't have any side-affects as some consumers stated. If the sandy like texture can be eliminated, I would have no problem to give it another try.(UPdate) Buyers be aware. The current price of this product is a rip-off. I ordered this product only 3 months ago paying $24.97, and now the price went up to $54.97 (120% increase) for only one pound bag without giving any explanation. I definitely will buy other competitive brands instead. I also found this brand has the worst gritty texture after added to liquid.

I use it in smoothies and it taste good.

This product actually doesn't taste anything like maca in my opinion. It tastes and smells more like peanut butter, which is odd to me. It also doesn't give me that same maca "kick" in my vitality and libido that I've been accustomed to over the years. I'm not sure if it's possible to "overgelatinize" a product, but that's what this product feels like to me. It's almost as if they have sucked the life and energy out of the plant to the point where the essence is gone in my opinion.I really do not like this maca product. I have been consuming maca for many, many years now and have ordered from several different vendors. All of them basically have similar characteristics in terms of smell, taste, consistency, and effects on my body, energy, and libido. Even gelatinized macas I have tried also retain the characteristic smell and taste of raw maca. Not this one though, it is very bland and lifeless.On the other hand, I didn't rate this absolutely a 1 star, I gave it 2 stars because it didn't give me any type of digestion issues at all or absorption issues which is one of the points of gelatinizing it. I know there has been some sort of issue going on with the maca community recently down in Peru with some thefts of crops or unlawful smuggling or something, perhaps that has something to do with this product? Overall, not your traditional, classic maca experience, raw or gelatinized or not. I'd advise to purchase elsewhere, unless of course, this product is doing it for you. Personally as an avid maca consumer, me no likey.

The quality of the maca is excellent. It works very well. Overall lufe improvement when taken daily. I usually mix a teaspoon into a protein drink in the morning. I'm a landscape so I can use all the extra oomph I can get. I can sure tell the difference when I don't have it. However, last time I purchased this a few months ago, I paid $34.97 and got 1 pound. Now it's $64.97! I will not be buying this again at least from here. I understand raising prices a little bit, but that's Extreme! Excellent product, salesman seems Greedy.

Not very helpful yet

Huge difference with energy as well as hot flashes, moodiness and even libido. Menopause can be a difficult time. Even though I'm post m, I still had some common issues with some flashing and moodiness. As long as I take the maca, usually in my second cup of coffee, I'm good. I notice a slight nutty flavor if you are wondering. No problem for me. Libido has improved somewhat as well which pleases my husband, lol

Has a nice nutty flavor and mixes well into smoothies. Will have to use the product for a while to determine any benefits of using it.
