DickiesWomen's Curvy Straight Leg Stretch Twill Pant

Perfect work pants for plus sized ladies.
I usually wear men's Dickies (as they are the only ones stores stock) but the waist is always too small and the legs are always huge (even though I've got really big legs). These curvy women's ones are amazing. I can't believe I've been wearing men's Dickies for 15 years when I could have been wearing these instead! They are so comfortable, the material is soft and light, unlike the burlap sack material men's are made of. The waist and legs stretch so I can actually sit down to do work. The only downside is the curvy option doesn't come in short, so the pants are around 8 inches too long for me. (I can hem them though). I'm 5'3" and around 190lbs and pretty evenly fat so the size 16 fits perfectly. Disregard that the model is not curvy. Also you cant really tell but these pants have front and back pockets that are very spacious (unlike a lot of women's pants). There's no side leg pocket in these or reinforced knees like the men's pants also. (so if you wanted to wear them for a delivery/warehouse etc job they might wear out quick).

Excellent Work Pants for Curvy Fit Needs
I needed a pair of sturdy work pants as I support a manufacturing area. These are excellent and have become my favorite pair. The material is softer than the Dickies brand pant you get from WalMart and the quality is much better. For example, the lining of the pockets from the WalMart pair is white and this pair from Amazon has black on the back side and at least 1 inch down before going to a soft grey stripe. This is very helpful when you have your cell phone or the like in your pocket. This pair also has double belt loops in the back to help keep your belt in place throughout the day as you work!I washed them before the 1st wear and allowed them to air dry (have had shrinkage problems with ones purchased from other vendors); however, I have since washed them several times with a normal dryer setting and have no shrinkage issues. For fit, I am curvy in the hip and but area with a narrower waist. I am not able to find a good size that fits me in the Dickies traditional cuts (either too tight in the thigh or too baggy in the waist between sizes) – this style fits great.

Flattering, sturdy material but zipper/closure are sketchy
I’m 5’6” and they are REALLY long on me. The zipper seems really cheap and doesn’t come up smoothly, youbhave to kind of play with it to get it up.(I ordered several pairs and they are the same in that) Also the closure seems seems really cheap as well, like it may not stay there for long. The pants themselves are great, the material is sturdy and they are really comfortable while still being flattering, and I am a plus size. I’ve gotten multiple compliments from people at work about how nice they look.

Dickies womens pants are not made for a woman's shape
I have tried several styles of Dickie's pants for women, and not one of the styles works for me. I have an hourglass shape with a smaller waist, apple bottom and larger thighs, so I thought the "curvy fit" shape of this straght-legged style would be an easy match for my shape. However, even this "curvy fit" doesn't provide the relaxed fit in the top part of the pants (the hip, rear and upper thighs) that I associate with curvy fit pants. Also, I dont understand why the Dickie's pants with a slight stretch never really stretch. Other pants with the same amount of spandex or elastane added to the fabric for stretch fit so much better and have a certain amount of ease when bending down that keeps my pants from gapping around the waist and exposing the upper apple. If you're shaped like me, these pants aren't for you.

Curvy is a strong word....
I'm a pretty solid authority on what "curvy" is (46/36/50) and these pants are not it. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered down a size, Im glad I did because If I'd bought my usual size they'd have been unwearable. I'll start out by saying these are more saggy then stretchy, so a few hours in to wear the get bunchy in the crotch and thighs. The waist was slightly big, so the pants would slip a bit through the day to rest very attractively under my muffin top (great look, especially when pair with a baseball cap and company polo). They fit okay in the hips, but the waist and thighs were just too big. I've had curvy fit pants before so I know its possible to actually make pants that actually fit my figure. I probably would've been better off getting the longer length, but Regular was only just slightly too short so its okay, I got them for work so its probably better not to be tripping on my pant legs. The quality of the pants themselves is great, Dickies has a well deserved reputation for affordable, quality workwear. The fabric was smooth and soft and the seams were durable. No back pockets is a bit of a downer, but also common enough that I was only mildly disappointed.Overall, these pants were adequate for their intended purpose, I only wish "curvy" actually meant to clothing manufacturers what it does to people who actually HAVE curves.... But thats nothing new really.

Way too tight in the waist
These pants are nice and fit great everywhere else but the waist is horrible and I even followed the chart. I have wide hips and I have a stomach. These pants have no type of stretch in the waist at all making it hard to even fasten. If I would have gotten a size up it would have been too big. So annoyed with this purchase because they fit well everywhere else. I just don’t have time to send back because I need them asap for work ugh

I never review products but....
After much research to find a good pair of pants that were comfortable I came across a review on these that ultimately convinced me to purchase them. I am not disappointed. I was looking for pants that would be appropriate for a deployed office environment. Which usually means sand colored to hide dust and comfortable with a nice fit. I am 5'6' with a significant waist to hip ratio. I have larger thighs also because I lift weights. I got a size 14 regular in these which is in line with my jean size. These pants provide a professional look with a great fit for a curvy stature. The stretch is just enough to make them comfortable, unlike some other "tactical" pants which provide no leeway in fit and usually run small. Kudos to Dickies on these winners. If I need more I will repurchase. :)

Dickies women's pants
I like the pants, they are good for work but I find them baggy around the crotch area. I was hoping that they wouldn't be and a more flattering fit but they do their job for work purposes

Great pants!
These pants are great for work. Lots of stretch while still looking professional. They fit a nice wide belt and are made of quality materials. I expect them to last a long time. I purchased one size up as other buyers had stated and they fit great.

Great product; doesn't fit
The quality of the product is awesome (exactly what I was wanting) and they shipped in excellent time! Unfortunately, the sizing was wrong for me which is a reoccurring issue that frequently keeps me from shopping for cloths on line. What one company fits very well at an 18R another company is either too big or too small in that same 'size'. Very happy with the provider.
