Worked perfectly
This item worked exactly as described. I was so nervous to try it because if it didn’t work I’d be ruining a brand new $500 rug but I really needed to change the white or my dogs were going to ruin it anyways. This worked well. I never had an issue with it clogging or dripping but I also followed the directions to a “T”. It was a little stiff for about two days but as it got more daily use it softened back up to its original texture. We also had mud etc on the carpet which we’ve washed up and haven’t had any fading with the paint. I’d definitely recommend this item.

Can't recommend this product...
This can of fabric spray had very little product in it. I have a set of gray outdoor cushions that had lightened in the sun, and I only needed enough gray spray to color-correct the edges of the cushions. Not only did this fabric spray fail to make it through half the cushions, but it applied stiff like spray paint. I thought the benefit of fabric spray would be a softer application, more like dying the fabric and less like literally spray painting it. Instead of this stuff, I would recommend always spraying your outdoor fabrics with Scotchgard UV Protection first thing (it really works to protect against sun bleaching) and actually dying sun bleached fabrics with RIT dye.

It'll Do
Staging a home for sale and I needed two decorative containers for a cubby display. I had two, but they were obnoxiously out-of-style, so I ordered fabric paint. Two cans because other reviews warned one can was not enough. My two cube containers measured under 11" x 11" each side and I still ran out of paint.Because I was caffeinated and feeling wise that day, I prepared for a paint shortage by only painting the front side of each container and the front half of both left and right front sides. See photos. That sounds complicated, but if there are 10 half sides to each cube (8 sides around and 2 bottom) I prepared to only paint 4 of these halves on each container. To give the illusion the whole cube container was painted, but it would not be since I knew I'd run out of paint. The photos showing fully painted sides have 4 or 5 layers of paint and the background color still influences the final product. Not horribly, but something to consider. The cans are really small (see photo for size comparison) and one layer of spray paint barely covers.Would I order this product and do it again? Sure. But not on anything nice that I really care about.
