Liqui Moly Valve Clean (150 ML) - 2 Pack

For starters, no gloves included. Should not be pictured, and not sure why they are but they do affect customer expectation. Next, I trust the other reviews that I will see results, unlike with some other additives I have used. I, like others, do believe in the LiquiMoly brand. I have run a tank of this Valve Clean in my 2005 Toyota Sequoia, which is a terrific and nearly perfect running truck clocking at 185k and over 13 years. Unlike other snake oils I have put through her just here and there (really just Techron and some Lucas for the injectors), I did notice an almost immediate difference in performance. And it has amounted to rough running at lower RPMs, but not idle. Noticeable, and almost immediate. (?) Within a day and a few miles on a full 27-gallon tank. As I should, I'll give this Valve Clean a chance to do its magic. As always, I'll report back if there's a demonstrable mid-term to long-term change, one way or another. Oh, despite the mostly clean-running Sequoia, I took the chance to put this Valve Clean through because it was recommended (somewhere and somewhy?) just before an oil change. She has dropped an MPG or three--without much to give away!--recently. I plan to Engine Flush with the LiquiMoly product right before I throw some Full-Syn Valvoline 5w30--with some LiquiMoly CeraTec thrown in--this next two weeks, as well as Denso Iridiums all around, one coil, the OEM crankcase filter, and air filter.

I waited what seemed like forever for this stuff and almost canceled since it took over a month. But, I'm glad I didn't. I have a high mileage 1999 Dodge Ram that had a horrific valve tap when it ran. Around 40 MPH, it sounded louder than a diesel engine. The list of big name additives I threw in there included Dura Lube, BCG, Slick 50 and at least 6 others. I didn't notice any improvement with those. When I went to the mechanic a few months ago, I was told that the valves sounded shot and it would be $800 bucks to $1100 bucks to have it fixed depending on what was found when the engine was taken apart. Keep in mind, my old truck is maybe worth $1500 dollars so I figured I'd give it one last shot with this stuff. I know there are no miracle cures...but this is as close as it gets. I have ZERO valve tap now and noticed a difference after approximately 2 days of driving. The truck is quiet, and almost scares me since I can't tell it's running anymore at idle. This stuff worked wonders and for the price it's truly unbelievable. So glad I gave it a try...and trust me, if it's backordered just hang in there and wait for it.

I have been using this stuff off and on in 4 different makes and models for a few years and haven't any issues. I assume it works well, but unless one bore scopes or tears apart the engine, can you really tell either way? I see this as cheap insurance. Why not?

Made a big difference in gas mileage. I used 2 of them in 20 gallons of ethanol free gas so I could get the most out of it and my MPG has been 3-5 MPG better ever since.

My 2002 F150's aging engine was making a very slight piston-ping noise but, after two fills, both with addition of Liqui Moly Valve Clean, the noise is gone. I did not get any dramatic mileage increase or anything like that, but there is a very pronounced improvement in throttle response. The engine seems to run smoother; that's a subjective observation, just how it now sounds and how responsive it is, not anything scientifically measured, but I seem to have a good ear for those things.All in all, I very much like this product. The price is very good, and the shipping very fast. I've just reordered another two-pack.

Fantastic for cleaning out the engine. If you’ve been using regular octane when you should be using premium, adding this to a few tanks of fuel will make a difference.
