Nutrient and fiber packed little gems
I have to admit, I never thought about eating chia seeds before. In my head, I'd hear "Cha-cha-cha-chia" and visualize them being spread around some terra cotta form. But these little guys are surprisingly packed with nutrition! They are tiny little powerhouses. I don't personally think they have much flavor, but adding them to other foods boosts your nutrition. My favorite way to eat them is as pudding. It is simple overnight refrigerator pudding. You can use nearly any flavoring with them. The basic ratio is 1/2 cup of any milk you like (whole, skim, almond, etc) to 2 tablespooons of chia seed. Add the sweetener of your choice to taste, or just used crushed fruits. Mix well, divide into at least two containers, and they will be ready for a snack that offers some protein, high fiber, and great flavors. I sometimes just use extracts to add flavors. (The only thing that I haven't really liked was making it with heavy cream...it created a fluffy texture that I didn't really care for.)Visually, I think I prefer the white chia seeds, but these black seeds offer the same nutrients and neutral flavor. I would not be able to eat this many fast enough, so I vacuum-sealed the extra to keep the maximum freshness.

Good quality chia
No complaints about the quality of this bag of chia seeds. The aroma when opening the bag is fresh, and they have performed very well. I most often use chia as a partial to total replacement for eggs in baking, or as an add-in for items such as hearty muffins. As an egg replacement I use 1 tablespoon of chia with 3 tablespoons of water and let it sit until all the water is absorbed. In addition to providing an excellent nutritional profile, the seeds add a nice delicate crunch to the item. The seeds themselves have pretty much no flavor, so they can be used in either sweet or savory since they pick up the flavor of whatever they are in.The price for this 1.5 pound bag is reasonable. It's not the least expensive option I've seen, but it's in-line with other good quality chia. The bag is sturdy and has a resealable top. I go through chia pretty quickly, so I don't refrigerate it, but it can be stored in the fridge after opening to extend the shelf life. All in all, a good quality chia at a reasonable price. Five stars.

just chia seeds, fresh and tasty, adds bulk to smoothies, helps reduce hunger at meal time
I like, "It's Just" products. I use chia seeds to help bulk up my smoothies. I tend to not eat until dinner, but I have a nutritional drink to keep me going through day. Usually a meal replacement powder or protein powder mixed with matcha green tea, collagen powder, mushroom powder, sometimes another greens powder, and then some chia and/or flax seeds. I'll have this after my morning coffee, and it powers me through til nearly 5-6 pm dinner time. I notice the difference when I have added chia seeds versus when I have not. I usually just add one TBS (60 cals), and that helps stave off hunger. OH, sometimes I have simply had a small smoothie with some chia just before dinner to help me not eat as much at dinner (I can pile it away). So when I do that, I keep it lite- maybe 120 calories, which ends up saving me hundreds otherwise. Anyway, small things can make a difference. Chia helps me.

Delicious Addition to Oatmeal
My kids have been adding this to their morning oatmeal and they really like it. It's a nice way to add a healthy vegan source of protein and immune system building ingredients to their oatmeal that is usually otherwise pretty bland. What we like about this is that it actually expands when you put it in liquid and it helps you to feel full.Chia seeds also help to cleanse the system out and they have many numerous benefits but I won't bore you with them here. Chances are that if you are considering purchasing these you already why you should add them to your daily diet. When you consider the amount you receive in this bag the price is absolutely outstanding. You definitely get a bang for your buck with this and you don't sacrifice the quality.

Great nutritional boost!
I like adding a scoop of chia seeds to my smoothies to up the fiber and nutritional contents. I also like that it kinda thickens it a bit and makes your smoothie feel more like a meal! These seeds appear to be fresh, they are whole and in good condition. They arrive in a resealable zip top bag with an expiration date 2 years in the future. It says packaged in the USA, but the country of origin is not provided and I find that kinda sketchy. These seeds are not labeled as organic or non-GMO like my other brand, so it is hard to say if it's a good value as I can't directly compare them. They are certainly cheaper, but I don't know where these are from or how they are grown.

Great deal!
I have tried lots of different brands of chia seeds, and this is one of the best values out there! It is what the name says...just chia seeds! The quality is excellent as well and the seeds are fresh. These chia seeds are packed with protein and fiber and are good in smoothies or oatmeal. I've also used them as egg substitutes in recipes and to make 'chia pudding' (1-2 Tbsp chia per 1 cup of milk/milk substitute, mix, refrigerate until firm, and sweeten with choice sweetener). I am very pleased with these chia seeds and will buy more from this brand in the future.

Powerhouse healthy Chia in a resealable bag
These It's Just - Black Chia Seeds are that and nothing else. This high quality chia comes in an easy to seal bag. I keep mine in the refrigerator after opening for optimal freshness. Rich in Omega 3s, protein, and fiber, chia is an excellent addition to any diet. I'm vegan, and I do eat chia everyday. I like to sprinkle a generous quantity over my breakfast bowl of yogurt (vegan, usually coconut based) and fresh sliced fruit. I also add toasted oats and some nuts. The kids enjoy chia pudding - so easy to make! I highly recommend this chia!
