These journaling notebooks are a similar quality of another brands' bulk sets very similar hardcover, placeholder bookmark and the band that keeps it closed so Amazonbasics is about the same price per journal notebook. Only reason I bought several of these is the black color wasn't offered by another brand and preferred to keep a similar notebook style and these surprisingly felt the same on all levels of quality to the paper style so Amazonbasics doesn't seem to clone other brands as others tend to say so its more like a certain grocery chain that picks the best quality. Nice professional appearance so the color doesn't look out of place in a workplace such as doing missionary work or professional work or such. Ink doesn't bleed through if using a felt style pen, I'd still suggest using a gel ink as it won't lead to pages being stuck to other pages if the humid weather makes other inks lead to page sticking such as cheaper ball point pens. Decent amount of pages, this is a buying point 240 pages for under $6 is better than local office supply stores may it be US, Poland or Germany plus you're able to get these on Amazon Poland or Germany sites at similar local pricing. You can organize your notebook easily using aftermarket stickers on the edge of pages as this hardcover provides just enough room to do it properly and safely so another plus for Amazonbasics journal notebook over the typical local office supply stores. Overall great for personal usage or actual work, plenty of space per page and durable enough to toss into a backpack or messenger bag. Handles the heat of Tempe AZ and the cold of Poland & Germany of winters.

If you like the look and feel of moleskine notebooks- this one is real close. Almost identical in quality and style for half the cost. A great deal. They often sell out so I've been buying a couple at a time.

Sturdy and functional. Pen ink is not visible from the other side. Nice built-in ribbon bookmark, along with elastic band to keep shut. Nice size, good for carrying maybe in a backpack but I can’t see myself carrying it loose. Feels like pages can lightly tear easily with a fine pencil, which is annoying.

Very nice larger notebook. Too large for me for travel, though. Good cover and page marker.

This is a fabulous little notebook, perfect for project books and journals of all kinds. Hardcover, with elastic closure, 240 pages - twice what most other notebooks have, and the pages are sewn signatures rather than glued pages. This means they will stand up to a lot without falling out, and will still be in one piece years later, making them a prime choice for travel journals and field journals. They even have a large concertina pocket on the back inside cover. Other comparable size and quality notebooks like Moleskin are three or four times the price for basically the same thing. If you go through a lot of journals, like I do, then this really is a great choice - good quality at a really affordable price. They come in graph ruled, line ruled, and plain, so plenty of options to suit your needs. It would be great if they also did dot graph, but for that price, I can live without it.

This notebook is my EVERYTHING. It's very durable and will last you a lifetime! I bought it last year for school to take notes (I still haven't finished using it yet) and I'm OBSESSED! The paper is lined and has a yellow-ish tint (which I love honestly) and is of great quality. This notebook has a hard front and back cover so that the paper doesn't crease if you accidentally bend it. Inside, there's a strip of fabric that acts as a bookmark when you need it. The notebook has an elastic band so that nothing opens when you drop it, and It's not very big which makes it a great choice if you're travelling! Overall, 10/10 recommend for all ages and uses.
