This is no doubt a Authentic Mitutoyo Caliper. However the description sells it short Never mentioning that it had the button to switch from MM to Inch readouts, The Caliper I received had a MM/Inch Button unlike the description and image on the Amazon page.

This calliper is super smooth, like butter. Other brand callipers will simply fade away, regardless of their price point, once this sleek gadget is in you hands -- it impresses with its beauty and precision. It is lightweight and is ready for action -- this isn't the 6" (smaller) variety, and yet this is so nimble in my hands, and smoother than other 6" callipers I have. The box it came in is super nice. Thank you Mitutuyo for paying attention to all those details!Future models should carry hopefully a larger display, and also a fractional inch display option (along with the current mm and inches) -- in US, fractions are still very common and useful.
