Textile Nature: Textile Techniques and Inspiration from the Natural World Hardcover – September 6, 2016

This book was recommended to me by a fellow textile artist. It provides wonderful inspiration and background to the work of many world renowned textile artists, including the author herself.I am currently working on pieces for an exhibition and within an hour of picking up this book, I had found an extra piece of inspiration for my work.The images are lovely and provide a real cross-section of textile styles.The book is stunning, from start to finish, and a worthwhile read for anyone wanting to develop their textile skills. Highly recommended.

This book is fabulous. It is inspirational! I love that it takes you from using your sketchbook and then developing small pieces and finally three dimensions and installations made in cloth. I particularly liked the folding books too.

I'm a mixed media artist but I purchased this book for inspiration and oh boy did I get it. My voice is all about the beauty of nature and insects, birds, plants and trees so this book fit the bill. The pictures and their details are great and the quality of the item is lovely. Happy with this purchase.

This is a beautiful and inspiring book. I'm very happy I bought it.

I thought the cover is very inviting the contents are not. There was nothing new or exciting inside, no new techniques, or ways of approaching a project. I hate writing negative reviews and I know Ms. Kelly has talent in her soul she just did not access the right part of her artistic talent this time.

Wonderful book thoroughly enjoyed reading it and looking at such wonderful art. Would recommend it.
