Did the job brilliantly!
Needed extra long bits, really only the 2nd smallest one, to drill vertically into the soft transom of an older boat I bought recently. Then poured wood hardener liquid into the holes to that soaked into the wood from all directions to make the transom solid again. Worked perfectly for what I needed, was able to drill almost all the way to the bottom with these bits and once cured, the transom is solid as a rock again. Much easier fix than replacing the whole transom for sure :-)

Exactly what I wanted BUT.....
I purchased these to put some rebar and some 4x4s to extend my fence just a few feet because my dog jumps over it. After using the drill bit it started to bend. They worked great up until that point. I guess my advice is to give them a rest after a while so they don't get hot and mend......? If that hadn't happened I would have giving them five stars!

Great low cost addition to the "just-in-case" tool kit
I had a specific , "one- time- only" need for these extra long drill bits and this set filled the need perfectly. The pointed brad bit tip centered the drill bit exactly in a extremely hard to reach cylindrical area that was impossible to pre-drill ,center punch. I was able to start with 1/8 and then progress up thru to 3/16 until the now weakened , hollowed out metal was easy to drive out with a brass rod.
