HALLOWEEN III: Season of the Witch - Collector's Edition [4K UHD]

People tend to disregard this film because it doesn't feature Michael Meyers, the antagonist in every other Halloween film. This is a mistake, as the story is wildly unique, and stands head and shoulders above many of its contemporaries. The transfer is fantastic, and would be a great reference quality UHD on any setup.

A must have 4K part of anyone's collection, for a long time some people were a little put off that this Halloween didn't have Michael Myers in it and the Halloween mask plot but over the years fans myself included have come to love this one even though it stands apart from the rest of the genre.All of the movies in these collections have both their Blu-ray and 4K versions and are loaded with special features.

Scream Factory releases this third film in the series, more of a "sidequel" , telling a different sort of story set near and on a new Halloween night in a 2-disc set that comes in a sturdy slide-in slipcover, porting over all the previous extras, looking superb in HD. Considered a failure at the time, but now a definite cult favorite.Disc 1 - 4K UHD edition that I am presently unable to view, but will give an update if that changes.Disc 2 - Contains the film itself and all the extras.

I know a lot of fans hate this film and few appreciate it. I really don't mind this film. I watch it every year lol.As for the transfer. I thought it was really good. Black levels were sold, image were tight and good color grading.New Atmos mix was also good. Not gonna blow you away but a good full sound stage

I always enjoyed this film but always thought calling it "Halloween III: was a bit misleading since it is not really part of the Michael Myers series. In any case, it is a good horror/suspense film that stands out on its own. I am blown away how good it looks on 4K.

The 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray disc version of this film has greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard Blu Ray disc version when played through a 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray player and a 4K ULTRA HD TV with HDR (High Dynamic Range).

I originally saw this in the cinema on its initial release. What no Micheal Myers? Nope I didn’t like it.I had a dvd copy that came in a three box set when dvds first came out. I rarely watched part 3. The 4 K transfer brings a new life to the movie with intense details in the picture and an immersive soundtrack. This is now one of my favourite Halloween movies.

From the gorgeous slipbox to the breathtaking quality of the actual disc, Scream Factory has done this movie right.
