So this functioned as intended w my living room tv. I do have a much older tv in my porch area and the cable doesnt work w that tv. Not sure why but the picture stays black but when i switch tvs it works again. So this might not work on older or cheaper tvs like the one in my porch despite having an hdmi port.

I never expected to rave about a cable, but this one is amazing. I love that I can now watch and see things from my phone and laptop on a TV screen that is so much larger. I don't have a smart TV or anything fancy, so this is perfect. One cable allows me to watch anything that I normally watch on my laptop on my TV. I can also connect it to my phone, but I haven't figured out how to make it full screen on my TV yet. The laptop is my preferred choice regardless. This cable is extremely easy to set up. Having a length of 6ft gives me a good amount of space to be able to mess with my laptop without having to sit right next to the TV. The picture quality is just as good as it is when I watch the TV or when I watch something on my laptop. I also like that I can switch the volume so that the sound is coming from the TV and not the laptop. I literally have no complaints about this product...I may buy a bunch more for others because I think it's great!

Like mentioned above, picture quality is on point (5 stars). 10 feet? Yea the length is great, and cover is really nice as well but the thing is, it's not working with my laptop. Which is weird because it's a 2019 MacBook Air. I plugged it in my computer and t.v, switched to HDMI and everything. My t.v is showing my wallpaper but nothing is showing up. Guess this is more of a question than a review... but how do I go about this? Anybody know? I'm giving 4 stars for now, because it hasn't worked the way I expected it to.

I initially bought this product because it was an excellent price, but unfortunately it didn’t last. From the moment I received the product it would work intermittently. I looked past it initially because it was a new computer set up with triple monitors, and at the time I wasn’t sure if it was a defect in the cable, monitor, output computer, or port. Now after having used the set up for some time I’m quite confident it the issue lies in the cable itself. If switched it from the left to right monitor to confirm. I can get the product to work, but only intermittently it will output to the monitor for some time and then just randomly stop outputting any picture. I then have to unplug the cable and plug it back in to get the monitor to show a picture again. When I do this I’ve always noticed the hdmi cable felt abnormally warm to the touch. As you can imagine, after going through this process hundreds of times it gets old. I wish I had just spent twice as much money on a product that had zero issues. You get what you pay for. I’ll be reaching out to the company soon for either a replacement or refund. I may have just received an individual defective product, and I’d like to give the company another chance.

It lasted 4 months I’m sooo sad!!! I found out while I was starting to watch some thing n it died on me!
