Woodpeckers Favorite
The mix is a popular choice of woodpeckers. The product has very low debris mixed in and with no shells leaves a clean area underneath the feeder. Not the cheapest feed available but a good mix of no waste nuts.

Great quality bird food.
Best reason to get this quality bird food is it is "No Waste" meaning that there is no shells and waste left in your yard after. I only buy no waste as it was terrible the amount of sead shells left behind. Good quality a little expensive but worth the money.

LOTS of whole peanuts.
Maybe I just missed the details in the description, but much of this won't flow through any of my feeders due to the high percentage of whole peanuts. I suppose that I can just pour out what the birds can't get to and let the squirrels have it. I'll be ordering a different mix next time.

No waste.
This bird seed does not sprout in your lawn. It is loved by all types of birds.

Quality
Good quality, however 50 % of of mix seems to be Spanish peanuts. I have observed 107 bird species at my feeders and none of them eat the Spanish nuts not even the squirrels and they eat everything.

Excellent bird feed with no waste or junk filler.
Birds gorge themselves on this. Highly recommend. There is no cheap millet filler crud.

Quality control has declined.
I've purchased Lyric Delite Wild Bird Seed, No Waste Mix many times. I've noticed that the ingredients have changed over the past year or so. I decided to overlook it at first, knowing that the 20/21 pandemic shortages had caused difficulty in obtaining many ingredients and items. This last bag, however, has nothing to do with pandemic shortages. Quality control has definitely declined. The birds have always loved this food, but they quit coming to the feeder in which I put this particular food (see photos). Thus, the bag of food went to the dumpster and now I'm leery of purchasing it again. I've given a 3-star rating simply because it has been a good food in the past.
