The blender has a high dome and a small dome with a matte surface that has unique bristles while the high dome has a shiny surface with flat bristles. It does make quick work of blending, it is something you need to get used to. The smaller dome picks up a LOT of product quickly so you need to watch how much is on the brush. The larger size blends it nicely and easily.The brush is about 6.5 inches so it should fit in any collection. My girlfriend didn't know she needed a Double Dome Brush til now! The brush as two set of bristles: the small dome has matte micro wavy bristles which grab more of the makeup. The large dome has shiny straight bristles which then help blend the makeup. This brush makes blending more seamless and more efficient. She primarily uses this brush for blending eyeshadow.
