I don’t usually buy kid-friendly cooking kits. My 7yo gets distracted easily, has a hard time concentrating, and following directions. Often my kid gets distracted and I am abandoned after 10 min to finish the project by myself. But, my kid loves pretzels and the idea of baking with me.This was super easy, not very messy (mixing and kneading dough), and relatively quick. All the ingredients are pre-measured, individually packaged, and labeled. The hands-off time it took to let the dough rise, boil the dough, and bake allowed my kiddo enough movement breaks to keep from becoming overwhelmed or bored by non-stop instructions. Totally worth it and kiddo wants another one.And the bonus, the pretzels were actually really tasty. Makes 12 decent-sized, soft, chewy, golden crispy crusted pretzels.

Directions were clear and was easy to make. This was purchased for a childs birthday and she loved it. the pretzles were tasty and she enjoyed making them! I would buy again.

My husband has struggled for years making German-style pretzels, and I got this for him as gag gift. For some reason this recipe worked perfectly and the kit was fabulous/fun even for an experienced cook.

Gave this to my 4 year old nephew for christmas and we made it together. Such a fun project and it turned out great!

Pretzel kit was too complicated for my 7 year old granddaughter. I wish I would have purchased a cake baking kit instead.
