FIRST & MOST IMPORTANTLY: Amazon-purchase-wise, THIS is the one you want, not the other nearly-identical product. Your tube should say “dry skin.” The other says “very dry skin,” and feels very thick, sticky, hard to spread, and contains more comedogenic ingredients.This moisturizer is not heavy by any means, but it’s really nourishing & hydrating, and works VERY well for my frequently-angry skin. It’s unscented, has a really nice, smooth, light texture that’s easy to spread, makes skin really soft, etc.Urea is a humectant, as well as lactic acid, which work by drawing moisture from the environment into your skin. The fact that they include both of those ingredients shows the thought they put into this formula.My skin is dehydrated, and prone to redness & adult acne (both general & hormonal). It gets dry & irritated enough to cause excess sebum production in my t-zone, especially if I use moisturizer that’s too light. I’ll break out or get rashes with certain ingredients, especially smells. And I use Tretinoin, so I’m often combating extra dryness from that. (Hot tip: get a cool-mist humidifier for your bedside table… it helps dry skin SO MUCH).Since my skin is a little extra dry, I add a couple drops of Bio Oil to my pea-sized blob of this Eucerin to lock in moisture & help fade my acne scars. They make a really good pair, and I don’t need any other moisturizer, unless I go out during the day, in which case I’ll use Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica SPF on top.I wanted to make sure I chose the best option, so once I finally realized that “typical” moisturizers weren’t working for me, I learned about urea and tried three including this one, the “very dry” formula, and Zeroid.The “very dry” feels more like an occlusive so it feels more suffocating & pore-clogging than hydrating, and I’m allergic/reactive to something in Zeroid cream, unfortunately.I’m super happy that this is the one :) …in fact, after a solid 3 years testing more skincare products than I can count, this was actually my first “holy grail.”I just wish it was more accessible. While I’ll pay the extra ~$5-$10 to get it on Amazon, it’s still annoying that most urea products aren’t sold in US stores. The tubes are pretty small, too — if Eucerin sold this stuff by the gallon, I’d absolutely buy it.Remember to patch test on your neck, since some people may react to urea! :)

I am 37 with dry dry skin especially in the winter. I also use tretnoin which makes it drier . This moisterizer really stays with you all day and keeps face moisturized. I wish I knew about it a long time before that Highly recommend

Initial review:I used Eucerin products before (sunscreens) and even if formulated for oily skin it seems all their products break me out in acne. I am not sure if it's the greasiness or sensitivity to some particular ingredient, imo the former, since I break out even from minimally greasy products. Wanted to love it but had to stop using.Update:I had some skin irritation on my neck for days, I am not sure why but skin got dry and cracking, like hives but more dry and scaly. I decided to try using this product on it (since I only get acne on face) and it restored my skin to normal within 24hrs! So I feel compelled to update my rating of the product!

Truly believe this is what has improved my skin texture. Since using my skin has been baby smooth and breakouts have subsided. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly and doesn’t turn me into a grease ball by the end of the day. Love that it is fragrance free and you don’t need to use a lot. I will never stop using this and I hope they don’t stop selling it!

I found this cream via Dr.Dray. My skin was peeling and dry due to tret usage and even CeraVe in the tub couldn’t help stop it. Then I got this cream, which is really light and moisturising, stopped the peeling overnight. I am so so happy I got this.It has 5% urea, and urea is a natural moisturising factor of our skin. This cream can be worn during daytime as well since it is light. If you already have extra dry skin, maybe you will need another moisturiser on the top of this. Will definitely purchase again!

Urea is the fountain of youth for skin. It plumps, smooths without a slick residue, and provides a moisturizing effect for over 24 hours. Few facial moisturizer contain urea and the ones that do contain an extremely small amount. I have neglected my skin for a few years which as resulted in a superficial flaky barrier to the dermis, which is the sponge that holds moisture. I’m in the process of correcting this situation with gentle exfoliation. I started using this products before I started exfoliation to start the softening effect overall. I did have less flaking and did see a plumping effect. I’m excited to see what I can accomplish over a couple of months.

After seeing someone mention this online, I was glad to find it on Amazon (couldn’t find this Eucerin product at big box stores or drug stores). I am loving this cream. It has absolutely NO SCENT whatsoever, is super lightweight and moisturizing, and really does improve the texture of my skin. This is a much better price point than expensive face creams, will purchase again.
