I bought these beads to make pins to label pieces for quilting and they worked out perfectly. I have enough to make Christmas presents for all my quilting friends.

This was a great addition to our bead party!

When I first received these beads I was ecstatic - the color was bright and not partially rubbed off like some other letter beads I’ve bought. However, after looking more closely at the gold on each bead while making bracelets, I started to notice that some of the gold is darker or lighter on some of the beads. And not only that, but a few (that I’ve found so far) look like they are even starting to tarnish! This leads me to assume that the gold is gold leaf, and there is not any sort of protectant on it. If you looked closely on the “I” bead that I photographed, you can see little dark orange spots on the gold. That’s tarnish.Looking at the 2nd photo (the “LED”) you can see how the upper half of the “L” is almost silver, and the entire “O” in the next pick is like a white gold.Now, this wouldn’t be so bad if only a few random letters were like this, but about 95% of the I’s, O’s, and Al’s look exactly like the ones in the photos.Very disappointing, especially since I planned on making bracelets with these to sell in my Etsy shop.

The beads are nice; but they are just gold - not rose gold- which is what I really wanted. I'll keep them anyway since I've got them. The container is great - everything organized and secure.
