Update - After seeing my review a customer service representative contacted me to address the issue. They ended up quickly giving me a refund. I would give them 5 stars for that. However, I did find a second cracking tool that had the same problem. I'm guessing there is a manufacturing problem which needs to be fixed. I repaired the units I have by using epoxy to hold the hinge pin together. I'll keep an eye on the other two crackers I have and will repair if needed. I advise other owners to do the same.I bought 4 of these. We've had them since November, and probably used twice. One of the cracking tools fell apart. It uses a two piece rivet as the hinge pin. One of the two pieces fell out, so now the remaining part of the pin does not stay in. It's a good thing no one ingested the pin (that I know of).I looked on the product page and there is no way of contacting the manufacturer. Hopefully they read my review and offer to replace the defective unit.

Just had our seafood night - this worked well on the crab legs. The crackers weren't as strong as I would have liked but the thin forks were excellent in getting all that good meaty crab from the shell! Thinking of getting this as a gift set for my sister in law who's a huge seafood person.

I can't tell if they're made out of metal or plastic! Feels like metal, behaves like plastic. I don't know if the butter thing is OK to put in a microwave. Not going to test it to find out... The crackers slip a lot because of the polish on them. Seems like a dumb idea to make crackers with a polish on them instead of a matte finish to aid in grip.

The crackers look and feel great and do their job. Tested on crabs from Costco and hazelnuts. They are nicely polished and look like made from white gold. Sauce cups are made from polished stainless steel. All four forks are also made from stainless steel. They are very sharp (be careful).Arrived well packaged, delivered quickly.

I had been looking for a set of seafood forks but when I found this set I was very pleased to get the seafood crackers, and sauce cups. What a great idea this set offers. I am looking forward to using it for some jumbo snow crab legs!

This is a good quality, and best price for this set - Addition to the 2 Crackers and 4 Forks it's include 2 Cups!(I don't know why, but other sellers don't include Cups).Product feels as real durable.Definite Recommend.
