The concept of this is fantastic; update your older vehicle to more modernized technology. the problem is the execution. First, the instructions are very lacking. Even the parent company website really stinks for this, but I got lucky by finding something similar on YouTube. Definitely not the easiest thing to do (and I'm pretty handy with stuff). Once everything was connected in order to test everything out, the screen came on right away. Gorgeous!!! CarPlay seemed to work pretty well. The only problem was all the native Mercedes functionality did not work at all. Checked for loose connections and everything...all was perfect. There were some blogs which talked about other issues such as losing steering wheel control functionality. I wasn't willing to lose my backup camera to have CarPlay when the native bluetooth works pretty well. Luckily putting everything back to the way it was before I started taking it apart went smoothly and everything is back to normal (98% normal). I definitely CAN NOT recommend this product

I did my research, and I don't care how fast the CPU is, how new the operating system is, or many flashy but impractical features. I need a large screen that keeps up with the times and supports Apple CarPlay, so I chose to buy this product.I brought it to my brother’s stereo store. The installation process is very simple, but the YouTube videos available are from three years ago and are outdated. You need to understand how the wiring works and make appropriate adjustments.This product works well with my OEM reverse camera. If your car has this feature, you'll understand what I'm talking about. The OEM camera automatically turns on when you shift to the R. When you switch to the P or D, the reverse image doesn't immediately turn off but continues for 3-5 seconds. However, this product doesn't support the "delay turn off cam" function, so the reverse image will turn off immediately when you leave the reverse gear.If you're a deep Apple user, the touchscreen experience of this product may be a bit unpleasant, and you'll need time to adapt.Overall, this product is a tablet computer based on the Android system and is compatible with the Benz NTG system at the same time.Don't expect customer service to solve your problems immediately. They will answer your questions, but they are located in China, with a time difference of 9-12 hours from the lower 48 states. It might be more efficient to figure things out on your own.My car is a 2014 CLA45 AMG.

Installed this CarPlay unit into G wagon. First will not turn on with the auxiliary kept kicking off then I used Bluetooth started working but still freezes the touchscreen stops working when you are on the factory mode whenever answering a phone call you have to physically switch it on the iPhone itself to go to the CarPlay otherwise you will not hear the other person on the screen it’s a nightmare I’ve been trying to call the WhatsApp number they gave us but their customer support is not that good

I ordered these to upgrade my G 63 AMG small screen to a 12.3" screen. The installation was not that easy, but we made it work at the end. I am very pleased with the results. I have Apple CarPlay now, and I am a happy camper!

Very happy with the product, but it needs more instructions on how to use all the functions in better detail, I`m learning though. I`ll try and add a photo later!
