ORGONO Organic Silica Powder 120 gr. (4.23 oz)

I don't like that this product contains a high amount of Maltodextrin. Studies show that Maltodextrin impairs cellular bacteria response, and suppresses the effectiveness of those probiotics your taking. Besides that, two scoops 3 times a day contains is almost 12 grams of sugar from maltodextrin -which isn't on the label- and if your diabetic you may need to know that. Maltodextrin can also contains wheat and corn- and there is no gluten free or Non GMO information on this product- or on their website, however the Seller assured me that the Maltodextrin is organic and Non GMO.If it has gluten in it I will know pretty soon.I have had impressive results with my hair taking another silica product which Amazon seems to be discontinuing. So I'm trying this. If it cures my osteoporosis I'll let you know.

I ordered this product in the hope of refining my skin. I think the product does help if you take it as mentioned on the container. The main reason for giving it only 2 stars is that i feel cheated as a customer by the content. After opening i had to realize the container is less than half full! In a container that size i expexted the fill line to be close to the top not the bottom. I would recommend using a smaller container to not give customers the impression of getting more when in reality it's only 1/3 full.

Product is 98.5% Maltodextrin (Corn Syrup Solids), a cheap filler that can have a laxative effect, as another reviewer noticed.The 120gm bottle only contains about 2gms Silica (1/3 tsp.), or "just a pinch".In small white print along the edge of the label, it says " *ORGANIC refers to the molecule formed by joining carbon and silicon atoms."If molecular bonding makes it 'organic', everything, including the plastic jar it comes in, is 'organic', and the term has no meaning.Mfr says it is being reformulated soon. I hope so, since I do want a dry form of highly absorbable silica for my morning shake mix, not a boatload of fillers.

Maybe its in my mind or maybe its Maybelline but I am pretty sure this stuff is helping me to get off of prednisone. Joint pain and swelling have both been reduced. To be fair this isn't the only supplement I am taking but this was the first that allowed me to reduce prednisone successfully. I like it and have bought more.

If I'm understanding this product's ingredient list - 1 gram (1000 mg) serving consists of 985 mg maltodextrin to 15 mg ortho-silicic acid. So the primary ingredient [nearly 99 percent] is maltodextrin. I'm clear that the silica might be some of the finest bioavailable form of silica that needs this much dry polysacchride to be preserved in dry form; AND, I am not clear on why we don't call this 120-servings of maltodextrin with a sprinkle of silica. Returning for refund. Complaining to Amazon. Please correct my understanding, Amazon.

I have no pain in my joints and my hair and nails are stronger and better looking. What's not to love?

I saw a difference in my hair pretty quickly and other people noticed it. Very Happy with results.
