Moi et mon conjoint avons mis au moins 2h afin de l’installé. Nous avons des fenêtres crankout et nous avons dû changer les extensions de côtés car ils arrivaient dans le verrou de la fenêtre, à cause de ça nous avons du percé un trou afin de pouvoir installer la visse qui vient « barré » les extensions à la largueur désirée. On a du aussi bouché les espaces créés avec des mousses isolante. J’avais prévu le coup et j’en avais acheté appart. Donc prévoyez tout votre matériel, plus que pas assez.Pour nous il était or de question de vissé quoi que se soit dans les tours de fenêtres. Je recommande un à l’intérieur et le deuxième àl’extérieur pour facilité l’installation.Des pinces à tête mince seront utiles pour tenir les boalts car l’accès avec les doigts n’est pas très grand.Oui c’est du temps et du taponage d’installation mais une fois qu’elle est bien ajusté il me reste qu’à retiré et remisé jusqu’à l’été prochain. Somme tout, c’est un excellent produit. Très robuste

I spent 4 hours trying to make this work on my window. My house is not very old and it has newer window types. The issue with this is that once it's installed there are too many gaps thru the window sill and the actual air conditioner. Don't bother buying this unless you have lots of time and are willing to buy extra insulation foam to make the bracket work.

Guess what. This marketer hired a manufacturer that welded them backwards. I contacted the seller, nothing. No response. A family medical crisis kept me away from returning it in the allowed time so now I own this defective piece of crap I can’t even use. Also, the metal is very pliable. It’s made of crappy pot metal iron you can bend with your hands. Piercings through structural pieces so rubber nubs will be held in place, but compromises the structure? WTF!? It was obviously designed visually, but no engineer ever looked at it. An insurance liability nightmare.

This bracket would have been better (and five stars) if it was welded together properly. Putting it together could be frustrating if you don't take your time and think about what you're doing. With a drill and grinder I got it to fit nicely.
