They are microwave proof and have fairly robust, well fitting lids,
I was actually looking for tall clear plastic 1 lb. containers with tamper proof lids for my liquid honey which I have used for several years, but I could not find any suitable and chose these ones as I now have a lot of set creamy honeyto package and since they are not so tall, they ought to be easier to package securely.The price is also in my range and the labelling will also fit in with them.I took a pack of them to try out, but so far I have been too involved with other work and have to warm up the 5 large pails of strained, off the extractor honey which has set creamy.I have also been packing my gooseberries blackcurrants and thornless brambles in them and they work just fine.
