Great jacket, a little snug but with this style all you have to do is move the buttons over!
I like this jacket. I bought for an upcoming trip to Northern England and Scotland. PROS: This is not bulky, so very packable. The fabric is the perfect weight, light and tightly woven. It has a microfiber feel to it, not "plastic" feeling. Fully lined, the jacket is just heavy enough without being bulky. It will block wind and rain nicely and, combined with light layers, will be plenty warm. The hood looks great both down as well as up. Two great pockets on the outside. Does have an interior pocket. The interior buttons are fastened with button holes. Personally I will probably never button any but the top one and then only for particularly blustery weather but it's great that they're there all the way down for those that want them.CONS: Only 1 interior pocket and it's set a bit far back under the arm for easy reach. I would have liked at least 2. I also can appreciate the fact that the placement of that pocket puts it's contents farther back under the arm rather than up front where it could create an unsightly bulge. The pocket "con" is just my personal preference. .The elastic loops for the exterior buttons are too short and tight. Of the 4, 2 of them pulled loose from the seam just unbuttoning the coat when I took it out of the package. However, I am handy with a sewing machine as well as a needle so this is a minor repair and I'll simply replace them with longer loops so they don't come loose again. For the price and overall quality of construction & material of the jacket, I don't mind fixing this issue.FIT: According to the measurements given in the size chart, the 3X should be a little loose on me. I tried it on with a tshirt and a buttondown flannel shirt layered under it and it's snug across the bust but not too small. My bust is 51". I would like it to be a bit looser; however, due to the reviews on sizes, I actually purchased a 3X AND a 4X intending to return whichever didn't fit, and the 4X is just way too big. Considering how hard it is to find a plus-size jacket with any sort of style to it that doesn't look (and feel!) like I'm wrapped in a canvas army tent, I can certainly work with this one. I'll simply move the buttons inward a bit toward the center front of the jacket and that will provide the extra room across the front of the coat that I want. Easy fix. I'm 5'3" and the sleeves are a nice length and it fits nicely across the shoulders. It would've been 5 stars if I did not have to replace the button loops and move the buttons but, to be honest, I have to tailor nearly everything to fit well. Overall I really like this jacket and anticipate years of great use.

Went by size chart and it was perfect.
Based on reviews and my experience in ordering stuff with weird sizing, I ordered "2 sizes up" per recommendations and got a 4X. It was WAY TOO BIG. So I looked again at the size chart and went by my measurements and got a 2X, which fits perfectly. Still a little baggy, but that is the style. I'm 5'3" and 200lbs, 40DD. The 2X leaves plenty of room to wear layers underneath.I really like the jacket. It's very lightweight, and I like that the material is soft, not like vinyl and yet still waterproof. The best part is that the jacket has a nice cut to it and the double-breasted buttons give it a sense of style - not just a boring rain coat. It sort of has a Peacoat look.LOVE IT!

I sent it back because I like coats with hoods and the hood on this coat ...
Very light coat, but cute! I sent it back because I like coats with hoods and the hood on this coat is not useful. It is cute and lays nicely on your shoulders, but if you pull it up to use the hood it is so large and floppy... I couldn't see! If I pushed it back so I could see it would fall down off my head if the wind was actually blowing. Bummer.

Great Jacket, Order a Few Sizes Up
Thin and soft, I ordered three sizes up because the reviews said it runs small and I am glad I did! This is a 3X but fits like an XL, I am 5'8" and 195 lb. and typically wear a L, this jacket is perfect for layering and is very cute.I would suggest reinforcing the buttons before use as I did.

Pros and cons to this raincoat
I ordered the first jacket (3x-my normal size) without looking at reviews. It was too small. Ordered a 4x and it was okay except the arms were too snug and I knew I’d be layering under this jacket. So, I ordered the 5x 😬. The jacket is very roomy, which I like. I’m 5’4” and the arm length is perfect for me...meaning the arms will most likely be too short for most people who order this jacket. It’s very cute and flattering.Three negatives-First, I’m going to have to move/resew the arm cuff button because the arm hole around the wrist is huge. Second, I’m envisioning the button hook/loop closures to need reinforcement so I’ll have to keep a sewing kit with me. Third, the hood is gigantic. I’m not sure what to do with it!? For now, I’ve rolled the hood to make it smaller but will need to find a better solution.I like the raincoat enough to keep it despite the negatives. It’s also a good price. Just make sure you order two sizes larger than you usually wear and be ready to make some adjustments.

Perfect!
Bought this to be a lightweight raincoat for a trip to Ireland and wanted something cheap that would pack well. I'm thrilled with the quality! Well put together seams, generous seam allowances, good tight buttons....it's a terrific coat and gives no indication of the inexpensive price. Can't go wrong. It was rolled into a vacuum bag for a week and shook out with almost no wrinkles.I have very long arms and the sleeves are long enough...I love everything about this coat.

no zipper, hard to button, upper arms tight
This runs small. I normally wear a 3x and had originally ordered a 4x so I could wear a sweater under it. The upper arms were way too narrow so I returned for a 5x. Some problem!!! Returned again for a 6x and they're still a little, but I can move my arms to the front of me without feeling like the hulk breaking through his clothes! The buttons are too large for the amount of elastic loop they give you to go around it. On the 6x coat I kept, I sewed smaller buttons on so that I could more easily button it. It's light weight and not very warm, which is what i wanted for a mild winters in Northern California. Material keeps rain off and is not too "plastic" or loud.

It seems nice. I am a size 16 ordered 2xl its ...
Took ages for jacket to arrive. It seems nice. I am a size 16 ordered 2xl its a bit big but rather that for comfort and wearing big jumpers. Does look a bit cheap a goldfish shimmer to it. Wore it for 3 days and right inside pocket has torn. Will keep and sew it. Ok for work .
