DMCCOLORCRD Needlework Threads 12-Page Printed Color Card

Embroidery kits seem to always run out of thread. This is great to help match colors BEFORE going to the craft stores. Good quality.

This product is made out of a thick material which helps keep its structure. I am unsure of the accuracy of the colors because it is a printed product. If you are using this for embroidery floss I would recommend getting the reference that has the actual string attached. I use this for diamond painting, and it is not very easy to DMC diamonds because of the variation in the picture of the floss (shadows). I do believe the price is a bit high for what you get, but this product is very well printed and has a nice portfolio fold to it. It is easy to read, but it can be difficult to locate DMC numbers if you are looking for a specific color because they are not listed numerically.

I received a bunch of unmarked floss. The card is very helpful in identifying what the DMC number is by comparing the floss to the card. My only problem with it is that the colors on the card a little small and because some colors are so close to others it makes it difficult to be sure of the correct color.

Perfect size. Use often. Would recommend for stitching hobbyists.

There are a lot of five star reviews. I think the colors are not accurate. There is a glare on them as far as how they captured the color and then there is a glare on the paper from your own lights. The fold-out fashion is very cumbersome with trying to hold something close to it to try and match it.

I wanted to know all the colors of DMC embroidery threads. Nice to refer to for projects on heavy cardstock.
