Great mouse keyboard combo for home or office computer
This mouse and keyboard combo works great. Currently, I have a Raspberry Pi hooked up to the TV in my living room, and I watch movies, videos, etc. on it. I use this mouse and keyboard connected via one USB into the Raspberry Pi for everything. It works great, and I can tell you it has at least a 15-foot range. Since I've bought it, I have yet to need to replace the batteries. It's responsive, works well, and connects, as far as I can tell, instantaneously. I think if you're going to use this for an office or home computer, it will work great. However, I may not use it for a gaming setup, as sometimes the mouse isn't as accurate or responsive as I may like. And while so far working very well, the construction of both the keyboard and the mouse do feel on the cheaper side.

The FN key is very easy to find with touch typing.
Works with Windows just fine. There is no power (on-off) switch/toggle for the Keyboard. It is not advertised to work with Chromebooks, and for the most part it will work, however (as of this writing), the scroll wheel (on the included mouse) does not work with Chrome OS.Again, it does not advertise compatibility with Chrome OS so that is not an issue.

Works well
I would recommend having your own batteries, the ones that come with didn't power the keyboard for mine. A couple of Duracells fixed that. The packaging made it impossible to lose the receiver dongle while unpacking which I thought was convenient. Just insert batteries and plug in the dongle and you are good to go - it couldn't be simpler. The unit is lightweight, looks good and has a good touch. I was amazed at the quality and performance for an item that is this inexpensive. The mouse is as good as the keyboard. I like the fact that it can be turned off to save battery, although that is something I tend to forget. It's very responsive and feels good in the hand. It lacks niceties like lights to show you if caps lock is on and audible feedback for key press. I haven't actually tested each and every key to make sure they all work, but I haven't had a failure yet so I assume they do. If the batteries last as long as they say it could hardly be better.

Seems to be what it says it is. Seems to work well.
I just received and installed these so I can not speak to their longevity. The description does not mention unifying or not. this receiver and the devices are not unifying. They do however work together right out of the box. so if you just need a keyboard and mouse combo that work together this one does that.Installation could not be more simple but there is one tricky part common to Logitech. Here is how not to get caught.:-Locate the end of the box with the security/tamper evident stickers.-Slice the stickers to allow opening the box's end tab.-Open the end tab one of the short tabs on the side will be holding the transmission dongle - the USB device that communicates to the equipment (the trick is that this is easy to miss)-Remove the dongle and insert it in an open USB port-Remove the batteries and install the two AAAs in the keyboard and the single AA in the mouse.-Turn on the mouse - there so no on off switch on the keyboard-Test the mouse and keyboard-Feel good about completing the installation. It is that easy.

Has Bugs
The keyboard constantly types extra characters. This is extremely annoying and slows me down. The mouse is fine-it does what it's supposed to do, but I hate the keyboard adding in extra characters all the time.

The Logitech MK235 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is an excellent choice for those looking for a reliable and affordable setup. The keyboard has a comfortable layout, and the 15 FN keys provide useful shortcuts. The USB receiver makes setup quick and easy, and the long battery life is a huge plus. Linux Mint Friendly
Plug 'n play for Linux Mint with Cinnamon desktop. Includes 2 aaa cells for keyboard, 1 aa cell for mouse. Fit and finish is good. The feel of the mouse is not up to more expensive units, nor is that of the keyboard. However, at this price point I think it's more than adequate (YMMV). It would have rated 5 stars, but the keyboard, unlike the mouse, doesn't have an on/off switch. This is an issue for me because I generally have the monitor off at the lock screen and unintentionally pressing keys on the keyboard can go unnoticed, creating a "bad password" on the login screen when I finally bring the monitor up. Adding an on/off switch surely couldn't raise the price point very much - I have another keyboard that offers that feature and I find it quite handy. I realize that this won't be an issue for the majority of those who are considering this keyboard/mouse combination. The easy setup with Linux was a huge plus, the USB transmitter worked first time out.
