This product works very well. I use in a basement with continuous drainage and it keeps the humidity level down. Prior to purchasing we were having moisture issues and concerned about mold, so this product has been a life saver! Excellent customer service as well. I will continue to purchase Waykar products.

Although I could have probably found a hoe to drain our dehumidifier at a hardware store we knew this one would fit and serve the purpose

I should have taken the other reviews seriously, but this hose came heavily kinked in 3 places (from being tied to its own packaging, not because of shipping), is made of some pretty rigid vinyl-like material, and the best part is that it did not come with a rubber gasket / seal (nice job saving those 5 cents) on the connector. Of course it leaks like a sieve once I connected it, because no matter how tight you tighten it, there is still going to be a void that lets water just pour out of the surroundings at the swivel connector.If you must get a hose specifically like this, I've ended up getting the Frigidaire dehumidifier hose- that one is more flexible, was not kinked, and actually has a rubber gasket.Unfortunately, this drain hose the way it is sold now is good for absolutely nothing, even as a backup.

I’m updating my original review, after saying:”I got it without reading reviews first, but this is a waste of money. I can't use it because it leaks. No worth it.”. I actually used plumber’s tape to seal the connection and the leaking was solved. I had my dehumidifier running since December no issues after the quick fix. I read previous reviews and jump to a conclusion too quickly without finding a solution.

hose arrived creased in several areas, not a very thick hose, I paced the entire hose in the kitchen sink hoping I could unroll the hose successfully with out cracking it. this did work out. However I got things set up and all seemed fine for a few days, then I noticed the unit was leaking, water about 3 feet around unit. There was the worst rust developed from around the hose on the unit. my new dehumidifier was awful looking. I cleaned up the mess and notified amazon for a replacement. They had no issue I was the one to be inconvenienced during the holidays to find time to return the old one, rather that just get a replacement. Upon further inspection I discovered the hose did not have a washer, most would have came with a washer but not this . So my concern at this time is the rusty connector on the end of the hose to the unit, will it cont to deteriorate. I am not sure. I never imagined it did not have a washer, and yes I know the reviews said the place a washer but in the beginning who the heck reads instructions for something as simple as hooking a hose onto a unit. its so simple. I will consider a replacement but not during christmas.

The hose was tied together inside the plastic packaging. This resulted in about ten really flat spots in the hose that I haven't been able to open up. I will try using a hair dryer on it tomorrow to soften the plastic in order to fix it, but I don't understand why the hose won't "bounce back" to the original shape after packaging. If this doesn't work I might have to return the product.

It leaked the first use. Also, it's hard to tell from the photo, but all the hose materials are VERY cheap, and this product is nowhere near worth the $20 they charge. It's so far from being worth $20 that the manufacturer should be ashamed of themselves for daring to charge $20.
