I use a bar and step platform for my workouts as well as other resistance band workouts where I don't use platform and bar. I've tried Eakrola, SUNPOW, Undersun, and Iron Infidel bands. I think Iron Infidel comes close to these. But, the quality of these bands surpasses all the others. When I first used them, I realized right away these had more resistance than other brands. I immediately had to make changes and adjustments and go with lighter bands in my workouts because of the difference in resistance with these. This is one of those things where, you get what you pay for. You can keep buying $30-40 sets of resistance bands, but you'll have to keep buying them every 6 months to a year. Or, you can buy these and they'll last years I'm thinking. I'm very happy with my Serious Steel bands. Like others have mentioned, they do have an odor to them. I took mine out of the bags and let them air out for a few days before using them. After you air them out, you can store them in a bag or backpack. They don't come with a carrying bag or anything like that. You'll have to buy a separate bag or backpack for these. But, other than that, I'm very happy with the quality of these bands. They're for everyone ofcourse. But, if you're wanting to lift heavy, these will work just fine for you.
