Small, compact, and user friendly
I have been using this product for a while now and have had absolutely no issues so far. The camera is very small, so it easy to hide behind your rear view mirror and forget that it's even there. They provide two wires of different lengths, I opted for the longer one which I hid around the trim of my car. This was a bit fiddly to do but I imagine you have to do this for all dashcam products. Once set up though, the wire is well concealed.Being able to access your videos from a mobile phone app is great, all you do is connect to the dashcam via the app and all your journeys and saved clips are there. You can download them straight to your phone wirelessly. The app does feel a bit clunky to use at times, but it gets the job done which is all that matters. You can save clips by clicking a button on the dashcam, or using voice commands. The voice commands are very responsive and work well - I prefer to use these for hands-free clip saving. If you get in an incident and forget to save a clip - don't worry as all the footage from the journey can still be accessed from the app.The videos are good quality (video and audio) and for me the timestamps on them have been accurate whenever I have saved clips. The price is reaaonable (I paid £120 in total as I needed a microSD card) and I would say it's worth the money.Overall, I'd recommend.

Perfect size top not be a distraction
Love the Garmin mini range, i have moved the original Garmin mini to the rear of the car and fitted the Garmin mini 2 to the front of the car.Setup is super easy, my approach is finding where on the windscreen i'd like the dash cam, and from there i run the cable to the nearest power source and if all reaches i fix the adhesive on the windscreen and tuck the cable in where possible, so all pretty straight forwards. The app is easy to use and connects super quick to the dash cam.I have a 256gb sd card working with the Garmin mini 2 with no issues. The box also comes with a spare windscreen mount & power cable which is super handy if one fails or you looking to switch this between cars.

Great discrete dashcam
Wasn’t sure about this - but very happy with the dashcam it’s very small and discrete, responds will to audio commands and hard braking, etc recording and storing video easily.Supplied adhesive pad (and spare) are fine and do a good job. Some comments about these not being any good but once fixed if camera doesn’t need to be moved they seem very solid.WiFi connection was a bit fiddly to set up but once done works solidly every time, playback over WiFi is good resolution.

No No No!!
First off, I had my doubts about this anyway because of the other bad reviews but I really wanted a tiny dashcam to replace my other for our new car.. well, it’s a wheelchair accessible van actually and I wanted something small because there’s not a lot of room on our new van windscreen for a dashcam without it obscuring view of the road. It can’t even go behind the rear view mirror because of the mechanics of the heated windshield taking up so much space. SO THIS was perfect!!!! Or at least so I hoped.Firstly the positives; This is small and a cute little thing that can discreetly tuck away. That’s all. No other positives. Now the negatives; The quality is bad. I mean really bad. Yesterday was cloudy and you could not see the reg of the car in front clearly at all. Today was clear sky and although you could see the car reg clearly when the sun was as behind, I had no chance if the sun was shining straight into the lens. Obviously. I’m a photographer, I know how these things work. BUT accidents don’t always happen on sunny days when the sun just happens to not be shining into the lens! So this for me was a good reason to return.Secondly this is NOT HD. I was trying to watch this back on my Mac and it was awful. In an accident you’d have to jump out and take photos on your mobile phone. Honestly, I’m not some kind of tech numpty… I know my stuff, I’m a tech and gadget nerd/expert and I’m telling you this is utter rubbish. Garmin have clearly not tested this product enough.Next, the reflection of your dashboard in the glass is way too much. A polarisation filter is a must for this or there’s way too much glare! I had one handy. Garmin charge a lot for theirs. It solved the glare but wasn’t the right size for this camera so was unusable. Too many reflections add haze to the image which will explain the blurry images.Next, you can’t just plug this into your computer. If you’re a Mac user then it won’t recognise the dashcam and you’ll have to take the sd card out instead and put it into a card reader (not included!). Luckily as a photographer I have a few handy! If you’re a pc user maybe it’ll work.Formatting this is a nightmare. You hold the mic button for 8 seconds and it does the job. It’s fiddly. The app is awful. The user interface is clunky and very poorly designed. Buttons all over the place and you don’t even know they’re buttons as they appear as words instead of obvious buttons.Sound quality is superb BUT there’s all sorts of digital blips and distortion that interrupt this otherwise crystal clear audio. Also… it does not stick on the window very well at all. It keeps falling off. You can’t leave this in the car every night or it’ll get stolen or will break due to over heating of the sun is on it all day. So you must be able to remove it but this isn’t possible at all without the poorly stuck on bracket coming off. It’s not even a sucker…. It’s a sticker!!!Transferring files and even viewing files via Wi-Fi is slow as hell. There’s no GPS so it doesn’t tell you your speed or position. If you could put this upside down on your dash say in front of the steering wheel that would be ok but you cannot flip it and it MUST ONLY be stuck in an upwards position on the windscreen.AND FINALLY there is no way of adjusting the brightness or exposure compensation in the app. So the image will be poorly exposed on dull days which there’s a lot of up north!!!!So, for all these reasons it’s getting returned as it is NOT fit for purpose.

Great compact dash cam
Great compact size that isn't distracting when driving.I fit this to my own car and also got one for my brother and it was easy enough to fit them both. The video is clear both during daytime and night time which is great.I'm so glad I bought this because my brother was in a car accident and we got everything we needed on the dash cam showing the other driver on the wrong side of the road.It detects potential accidents and collisions and saves them permanently so that you don't lose any footage you need. 100% would reccomend

A little gem.💎
Some reviews just shout out, that the reviewer should have read the manual. This is a brilliant bit of kit. Setup was simple enough although some connections to my phone were suspect. Image is brilliant. Remember SD to watch on a phone but HD once it’s downloaded to a computer. Simples! 😜
