Ultraflex BassBlox Bass Traps Using our trademark BassBlox profile for Deep Bass ControlTM (DBC) These bass traps have been designed to have deeper channels and longer projections to distort low end wave energy. The edges have been trimmed so that your bass trap stays in shape longer. No more flimsy angled edges! The back of the bass trap is angled off to leave an air column between the wall and the bass trap, this increases the performance of these traps as sound energy gets attenuated by the air gap. They work. Very Well indeed.
I recently bought a pair of Tannoy 802 monitor speakers. These push out some serious bass. When I first tried them the bass overwhelmed my bedroom studio. My room is fairly large, I'd say 6M X 9M, so not a box room. I placed the monitors on Adam Hall PAD ECO Series SPADECO2 Monitor Isolation Pads, which definitely helped to calm the bass down. But after reading a few articles online I realised I would need to treat my room, with some bass traps and panels. After checking through various options, I opted for Pro-coustix Ultraflex Studio Pack One Acoustic Treatment Kit. Why? Well price was one factor, you can easily end up sending many hundreds on this sort of treatments and I'm not a professional, so just needed more neutrality in my sounds and more bass taming. The pack covers a good deal of what you need - bass traps for each corner, and panels for the wall, which I placed according to a really helpful article on line.Big difference. Really made the room much more balanced, bass far more integrated with the mid and top end. Really made a positive difference. Now I did follow instructions of the article I found online, and it worked for me.I'm waiting for the speakers to burn in and for me to play a good variety of music through the monitors as well as my own (electronic music). I've placed the bass traps in each corner in such as way that if I need more I can fit them in with my current set up, as bass traps are considered the most important part due to standing waves apparently. These have worked for me (I will update in a few months if I feel a need more treatment), and my speakers really are strong in the bass department being 8" cones. I would certainly recommend these for a relatively cheap way of effectively treating you studio to get the best and most neutral sounds when mixing or listening.

Bass traps are useless
The Foam pieces are Good for dampening the flutter and echo in the room in the high freq. but the bass traps are too small and too light to be effective for bass trapping.

Good for budget
Does the job. This is not sound proofing but acoustic treatment to stop sound problems in your studio. My studio is about 10ft x 5ft. These perfectly stopped any rogue feedback, echo etc. I bought a roll of velcro tape and spray glue. Cut cardboard strips, spray with the glue, stick to back of panels. Then cut a strip of the velcro tape, remove one side of paper, and attach to the cardboard. Remove remaining paper off the back of velcro tape and now push firmly against the wall. They won't budge! Mine have been up for over 6 months now. Bass traps included.

Nothing like on the pictures!!! Absolute garbage!!e
First of all I didn't order this. What I ordered was the pack with the bass traps. Where are those? Not in the box I received for sure. Absolute rubbish. The "acoustic panels" (should we just call them crap) are nothing like on the photo. This is clearly false advertising. Extremely disappointed. Never ever get anything from these people again. Stay away from this company and spend your money on decent product. Will send it back first thing on Monday and ask for refund. What a joke they are. Wasting people's time and money.

It just works.
I bought these as an amateur podcaster and singer wanting to improve my audio quality. I am sure there are better choices from the perspective of a professional with high-end hardware who needs ultra-high fidelity, but for the purposes of very cheaply and easily improving the quality of audio I recommend this.I installed these in 1m square panels to the left and right, front and rear of my recording space and installed the corner traps, and the room immediately became loads better.I just used nails/ tacks as I own my home but if you rent maybe consider other ways of attaching them.I think I might be buying more to be honest. This would also improve the quality of voice calls a large degree if you are looking for that.

great product! but you will need to put some effort into adhering it to a wall
This really does cut down on the reflections of a room! The only thing is you will have to put in some work and find some online solutions to adhere it to the wall - what i did was i bought some industrial strength spray glue and cut out some cardboard and glued it to the product. i then bought some 3M command strips and used that to put it in the wall. Anyhow, great product for anyone who wants cut down on the early reflections in their home set up.

Great quality and value
Incredible product for a great price. I brought two of these kits to sort out the acoustics of my studio/office and think the results and value are amazing. With a bit of planning (and many packets of 3M Command poster strips), you can really achieve some remarkable results with these kits.
