Great overall
These arrived in a Thursday Boot Co box which I didn’t expect, but realizing that, they’re a perfect fit for my Thursday Boot Co boots. I feel much better not seeing the tongue flop around when I take them off, and I don’t worry about the leather being malformed by an odd object being placed on them. The smell of the wood is strong at first but mellows out to a point where the trees still have it and keep the boots smelling nice, but it’s not assaulting my nose when I take the trees out of the boots. They’re not cheap, but they’re quality inserts. As the picture shows, I like to wrap my laces around them. When my boots are put away, I like the look better with the trees in than without them. Clean look. Clean product. I will be getting a future pair for every pair of leather boots I buy. My boots are also a size 9 for reference.

Size Up!
I wish I had read a little deeper into the reviews before first purchasing this item. I bought them for my size 11 Thursday boots and found that although their sizing chart specifies a large, it was much too small for that boot. I ended up returning the large and got an XL and it works great! Love the cedar scent and am happy to know that I'm protecting my investment by using these trees.

Great for my leather boots!
Great for my leather boots! I have a pair of black motorcycle boots and a pair of brown work boots. I put them in whichever one I just wore. They fit well for a 9.5/10, make the boots keep their shape, and basically just do what they're supposed to do!

Better than a regular shoe tree
Keeps my boots looking good.

They are not what you expect. Just get regular shoe trees for 1/2 the price and better fit.
Made by the Thursday Boots people. Really like MOST Thursday Boots. I currently have 5 pair and love and recommend all of them- Captains, (2) Scouts. Cavalier, and Duke (Hated the wingtip boot, not a TB quality product, really shook my faith in the brand. Look at other reviews of this boot, not good, shame on you TB).Bought these boot trees for Allen Edmonds Hamilton dress boots. At $425 reg price this seemed like a good reason to pony-up for boot trees.Short Strokes:- they run very small so I sized up and it was correct fit length wise- they do not fill the toe-box, lose gaps at the sides, no support- do not support the upper/instep area at all so worthless for that- my Stratton split toe shoe trees fill the toe box better than these and at 1/2 the price.- I wanted something to "fill" the soft/unsupported areas not filled by regular shoe trees. These did nothing extra and actually less than regular shoe trees so back they go.Hey Thursday boot, try designing a boot tree for boots, not just a shoe tree with an added skinny shaft and no instep support. That would set you apart, that would be worth the extra money. These miss the mark. Are they "boot trees"? Technically yes. Do they give any added benefit over shoe trees? Maybe...they do give "shaft" support but that is not an area I am concerned with as they are not prone to needing support. Instep and toe box are the areas that will deform most when unsupported in my experience. It is important to fill the toe box to prevent excessive creasing and "toe-curl-up" as well as absorb moisture. I was looking for the boot tree to add instep support. It did not add any support.Even if these boot trees cost the same as regular shoe trees I would still only use the regular shoe trees because they gave better support in the toe box.
