Its coverage was great and clean up was easy. One bottle was plenty and we had approximately 1/3 of the bottle left. The finished product was amazing. We actually like the look and color better than the original grout appearance. If ever needed, we would not hesitate to use this again. Highly recommend it! I spent so much time trying to scrub and keep my grout clean around the toilet in our guest bath. No matter what- it looked gross! Always darker than the rest of the grout. I initially bought an expensive grout cleaner from Lowes and went to town cleaning it (per the Lowes workers suggestion). I then waited 48 hours to seal- but again it never seemed to dry the same color as the grout away from the toilet! I was fed up and bought the chocolate color on a whim. So easy to use! I would paint a few lines with a paint brush and rub off the excess on tile with a damp cloth. Worked like a charm!!! It works best if the grout has been cleaned and it has never been sealed. It is a grout stain and sealer. If it has been sealed, you can still use it, however, it may have to have two coats and would be more apt to come off the grout . Ususally if it comes off, it is very simple and easy to touch it up and go again. Cleaning the grout really well will help this. I have seen some shower floors that stay damp or wet all of the time from improper drainage under the tile. This can cause the grout stain to come off, so it is important that the grout is completely dry when the product is used.. **Q: I have white tile and I just purchased the "white" and it looks a little grey? Will this lighten up?** A: It should be white. Make sure that before you apply this product that the grout is clean of dust, dirt and grime. The gray may be due to the product mixing with some left over dirt or grime. **Q: How does this hold up over time? Once applied, how do you clean your tile floor? I usually steam my tile floors. Will that remove the grout refresh** A: I ended up applying mine right before I moved out of my rented town home....but after I applied it, and let it sit approximately 24+ hours, and then tried to use a scrub brush to clean the tiles, this was coming off in small amounts. So, not sure if I applied it incorrectly, or if it just does not hold up that well to scrubbing? Used it on the grout in my bathroom and it covered up the white stuff that appeared on my mocha grout. Spread the project out over 4, 5 days, in younger years could've probably finished it in a full day. But I used an artist brush and probably was more careful than needed to be. If the product got on the tile it was easy to just wipe off. Have been hand washing the floors for now but that won't last for long, ha ha. Not sure how the Wet Jet mop solution will do. Thinking should be fine. Have a lot of product left so can touch up if need be.
