What a great purchase for the price. Read the description and you'll know it's not wood but plastic. Unless you're up close you won't know the difference. The dark cherry finish goes well with our end tables, dining table and it fits great on the mantle. You can easily read it from across the room.

I love this clock. I don’t have a mantle but I put it on a bookcase in my living room. At first when I saw it was plastic I was skeptical but once I placed it on the bookcase it doesn’t look cheap or tacky. It is just the right size for my space. I know it is supposed to replicate a grandfather clock which it does but I would like to see the numbers better if they were darker to contrast more with the white background. The battery is very easy to put in and setting the time was easy. All in all this clock is worth the money.

Easy to set. Easy to read. Looks really nice. Runs off of 1 AA battery. Needed a clock when we got rid of the cable box. Now I have no excuse for staying up too late reading or watching TV. I recommend this clock.

The face of the clock is not even close to the advertised picture on Amazon.Per the Amazon pictures, it should be an Antique White, or something similar. I thought it would go well with my light creme walls.HOWEVER, the face of the clock is yellowish green. It looks terrible! It looks like it could be that glow-in-the-dark coating they used to put on clock hands.I like the size and shape of the clock, but that clock face color is a deal breaker.Buyer beware!!

I'm very pleased with the look and quietness of the clock. It fits very nicely on my bookshelf and is easily readable from across the room. Nice clook, very stylish.
