I was allowed to read whatever I wanted to whenever I wanted to and I am currently not in prison or on the run, although, to be honest, I did sell copies of Terry Southern's Candy from under the counter in the Corner Store in a small town in Pennsylvania when that was illegal, although I was underage at the time.

Critical Volume
Excellent translations, superb introductory essay, and very useful bibliography make this Penguin volume an essential item to an Ibsen collection!

Great plays by a great playwright.
It's hard to imagine screening literature for levels of violence and sex. Maybe instead of War and Peace, we could abridge the novel and just have Peace so we don't disturb the more gentle among us? Cheaper than other places online
Good book. Needed it for school and it was cheaper to buy it here than rent it from my university. The plays are actually quite intriguing and are a good read.

I read this in college and after having similar experiences in life about ten years later, I found the read to be even more thought provoking.

Such an incredibly powerful story. I really believe it should be required reading in schools. I enjoyed it so much, and ended up crying at the ending.

These plays by Ibsen were amazing given the Victorian attitudes in Norway during that period in history.
