This Epoxy Resin set is great for beginners! This was my first time using Epoxy Resin & it was very easy to use! It comes with a great variety of colors. The quality of the finished gems is very nice! They are durable & do not feel sticky. You are able to make several different sizes & shapes of gems & the kit comes with everything you need to make beautiful & colorful jewelry!

Bought this to preserve insects for my grandson. It was a good deal for the price and we will use the other jewelry pieces sometime in the future. I don't see this as a beginner activity for a child but maybe for an adult. There was a pretty good learning curve for getting the insect to stay suspended in the medium while it hardened. So far we have a nice bumblebee and a scorpion. Our grandson is so happy to be able to safely hold and carry around his insect treasures.

It's fine for a starter kit but the instructions aren't great, and I felt like I had to stir a lot and still had bubbles. The colors are weak and you need to use a bit in order to get any significant tint. It's a decent value if you've never done resin work before, but if you stay in the hobby, you'll need an upgrade soon.

I bought this a while ago and just got it out yesterday to give it a try. I watched a video explaining how to do it and followed the instructions. The kit had everything I needed. It was fun playing with the dye and different types of glitter. I did not have a heat gun so I was a little concerned that I would have a lot of air bubbles, but they turned out so great! My only complaint is that the molds do not have any matching sets for earrings, but I ordered some and I'm excited to do another round. I highly recommend this kit!

Easy to use, and so many options. The little hand drill is pretty cool. There's a lot in this kit for the price! Fun and creative. The solution does change the colors of flowers though. We used purple flowers that turned green and white flowers that turned yellow. Not a big deal but my daughter was a little sad that it had changed colors when she was making a keychain. I also used this to make "milk keepsakes". It did make the end product a little softer/rubbery but I'm still happy with how pretty it is

I'm new to resin however....I'm have trouble mixing the colour and add ins. they always sink to the bottom even after mixing thoroughly. I may just be doing it wrong idk.

Granddaughter is 10, she is having a great time making dog tags. So many possibilities. Not to bad on mess, plastic cloth is nessasary
