Good Volume pedal.
Good products and works well. Using jt after my drive pedals. Unfortunately the item was hot when I received it.

Great pedal
I had one of the cheap mini volume pedals. It worked, but... This one however is great. I shouldn't have wasted my money on the cheap one. It is a solid as my full size, "could kill a buffalo with it" Ernie Ball volume pedal.

Great as a Wah pedal, but excess travel makes it uncomfortable on an angled pedal board
It works great as a Wah pedal for my HX Stomp XL multi effects pedal, which was easy to set up with ChatGPT talking me through it. However, be aware, it has more travel than the Dunlop Cry Baby Wah pedal. This is particularly noticeable if you have an angled pedal board, as unless you have super flexible ankles, you won’t be able to get it to the fully open position when sitting down. This has led to me ordering a different pedal board (a flat one). I like that it doesn’t require a power source or battery, meaning if I’m using my HX Stomp (which is all pedal effects in one) I don’t need a power pack or multiple power leads etc., just a compact flat single row board. I’ve attached some pics to demonstrate the difference in travel compared to a standard Wah pedal (where I have raised the Volume with some cardboard so that the pivot pin on both are at the exact same location) so you can see there’s quite a bit more travel with the volume pedal. You get used to it but that angle makes it horrible when combined with a angled pedal board.

Love it!
I have nothing bad to say about this volume pedal. I've been using a full size Ernie Ball volume pedal for almost 30 years now, and I needed to another volume pedal to control a new synth pedal I added to my board. Thought I'd give this smaller 8" JD volume pedal a try and it works perfectly for me and my rig. I use the EB vol pedal for my guitar, and this JD vol pedal for the synth. I really like the smaller size. The sweep of the taper is just right for me and it's completely silent. Nice design. to keep it looking good, I bought a cheap $10 men's shaving/grooming bag with a zipper on top that fits this pedal perfectly and protects it when it's in my gig bag. Another good product from Jim Dunlop!

Squeaky
Used it for just over a month and not very often, now it squeaks so loud! It’s way beyond annoying, you shouldn’t need to do anything to it after a few uses. I’m outside of the return period as well, good times! Even with the amp turned up, you can hear it! Maybe it’ll be the next big thing, Wah squeak Wah… Not happy.
