These are fantastic! I wanted to get rid of plug in night lights and these are a wonderful purchase!! Great amount of light and don’t have to sacrifice an outlet! Must have!

Installed really easily, and it seems to be built well. The light is plenty bright enough for our bathroom. It glows through the plugs as well as you can see in the photos.One thing to be aware of, the photos seem to show a finger pushing on a button to turn it on and off, and this is not the case - the little black "button" is just a light sensor that enables the light to turn on. Using a finger in their images sort of tricks people into thinking it's an override switch, and its not.But that is a great product upgrade idea - because this is installed in our bathroom, and sometimes when it's late at night I don't want the light because I'm trying to stay asleep - I'd LOVE a little button to tap to temporarily turn it off or on.

Had a master electrician install these, he said he couldn’t install them because they are not UL listed for use in USA. Also, he indicted the outlet devices did not have holes tapped to screw the covers on securely over the devices. The screws that come with these do not screw into the outlets and basically useless all-together because the holes for the screws were not tapped or threaded for the screws. Can’t forget to mention that two of the outlets in the box didn’t even illuminate at night after install

This is a 15A outlet, so the wire needs to be 14 gauge copper wire or a 12 gauge copper clad aluminum wire. The quick wire terminals in the back on the neutral side are properly sized for a 14 gauge wire. The holes on the neutral side are are too small for a 14 gauge wire to fit. A 16 gauge wire fits, but that violates both electrical code - and this part of the code is there for a very good reason. You can use the side wire terminal just fine, but missing something this simple makes me wonder about what else they missed. Note also that I did not see a nationally recognized testing lab marking on the outlet (UL, CA, ETL, etc.)The lighting is perfect. Too bad the quality control and certification don't live up to the design.

I ordered these outlets to add some light to the entryway and top of the stairs of my house and they did the trick. They install like any ordinary outlet, and the finished product is outstanding. They are more than worth it in my opinion. I definitely recommend these outlets and would buy them again.
