Tastes great! Slightly addicting.
I was looking for some german cookies called Doppel Keks that I had found at Aldi's for a good price, but apparently they only carry it one time a year for german week. Looked it up on Amazon and found out that just 1 sleeve costs 15.99$ for a 17.6 oz sleeve. These cookies cost me less than 12$ for three 8.8 oz sleeves and they tasted just as good. (imo)It's not as sweet as you might expect of a cookie, nothing like an oreo or chocolate chip. But for me that's part of the beauty of it. I don't want to feel the need to go and brush my teeth just after having one of these. If I can discribe the taste, it is like two animal crackers. (The normal kid snack ones often used in preschools, not the super detailed and sweeter ones from the little boxes.) With a chocolate filling holding it together that as long as you know not to expect E.L.Fudge or Nutella, more like a plain cocoa chocolate that gave the cracker cookies a nice little flavor boost. They are probably not for everyone, but I found them very enjoyable and think people should really give them a shot. They don't taste diet, they just aren't as sweet as normal US cookies. And if you really don't like them you could always get some Nutella to spread on top. That was my plan if they turned out not to be to my tastes but it wasn't necessary for me since I like them just as they are. Most of my family didn't really seem as excited about them, but more for me!On a side note, compared to the Doppel Kek cookies these are a smaller diameter, but that's not surprising when you take the package sizes into account for each product. They are a great snack by itself or to go with tea. I love them.Another note, even though they didn't come in a box they were not broken all to bits thanks to the sleeve design which has a thick-ish cardboard like paper that protects most of the cookies. I only had a like two broken in each pack. Most survived the journey just fine.

Classy Cookies
These do have 1 gram of sugar and 3 grams of sugar alcohol in the form of maltitol, each cookie. Maltitol can give an insulin response in case you are doing any dietary restrictions. But these cookies are really nice and casual, not overdone in grease or sweetness. These are perfect for weaning off sweets. Packaged extremely well. Highly recommend.

They are okay
This is okay. The taste is okay. They are fresh. It's not too exciting. So don't get too excited but when you're having a need for something sweet you can grab a couple of these.

Chocolate filled cookies
I really like the packaging, it's in a tube so they are protected and compact. The cookies are good for no sugar added, I will buy again.

Just Not for Me
*Please note, this review is only based on my own personal tastes, expectations & impressions. I would strongly recommend everyone make up their own mind to purchase, however, if it might save money for another person with the same tastes as my own, then it's worth reviewing. I am highly sensitive to flavors and smells, so if something tastes JUST A BIT different that I'm not accustomed to, I just won't eat it. That being said, growing up and continuing with an unhealthy addiction to sugar, and for how long I've programmed these ideas - entering my 50s, this is most likely not everyone's issue and is pretty hardwired into my brain, so take my review for what it's worth.I was very excited about these chocolate creams and the reviews seemed very positive. I decided to spend a little more money for what I assumed (from the positive reviews) to be a healthier, and tastier option from what is available here in the States.I would guess that it MIGHT be just a cultural gap between US products, and those that are sold overseas in EU and GB. But again, I wouldn't be able to state for a fact. The chocolate filling simply did not taste as I'd expected it to taste. Think Oreos, Chocolate Wafer cookiesor the Keebler Fudge Grahams or Fudge Striped Shortbread cookies. I can certainly appreciate the different flavors that come from Europe and Great Britain, as my grandparents would always bring home unfamiliar but popular goodies from Scotland and Ireland. Some were instant favorites and others where just a hard no. Again, I feel as if my tastes aren't considered normal or refined at all.I wrote a review about the other cookies/biscuits that I'd, purchased from this company that were labeled as Shortbread. Basically the same type of opinion, but I feel that the Shortbread could be edible to me if I added a little low/no carb ice cream or whipped cream and made them into little Ice Cream Sandwiches. I imagine would also be good for dunking in coffee, or having as a little dessert or breakfast with some jelly, jam or marmalade, but I don't drink coffee, or eat fruit preserves, so you'd have to taste for yourself. In short, these were just not for me and my tastes. I DO NOT intend to say that the products from this company are just bad and to be avoided. My intentions for this review are that someone might see the star rating and have a read, and decide for themselves.
