Love this kit so much!
This is perfect for my purposes. I can mat all the artwork I have collected with ease. I agree with others’ recommendations to get clamps to hold the straight edge in place. This helps. I wish I had been able to buy the complete kit, but this is a great start.

Does a great job but needs strength
Have managed to do several excellent mounts but it does require strength to use and best for right handlers. There is nothing in the instructions to tell you to adjust the cutting depth - with the screw marked in photo. After adjusting the cutting depth so it only cuts through the mount and a piece of normal paper (80gsm) it is much easier to use. It has also been possible to recut mounts as long as you put some scrap in the old cutout to support the cutter. All in all well worth having despite the minor problems.
