Seams are reinforced, straps are stitched and riveted on, hardware is metal (zipper is nylon but pull is metal), and an extra strap for over the shoulder is included. The carrying portion of the handle is reinforced and narrowed for comfort of the hands. Pockets abound for napkins and utensils, cell phone, umbrella, tissues, keys, pads of paper, etc. I decided to see how much this little gem could hold, and I found out. I loaded it up with 7cup (1.6L) plastic container, 5 cup (1.2L) plastic container, 4 canned soft drinks, 9 oz bag chips, 2 medium apples. If it can hold all of this for food items, I can only imagine how many crafting items I can ladel inside!
