i finally decided to look for a 3d scanner but prices seem way high. every time i came back to this 3d scanner from Revopoint pop.. decided regardless of the negative views i would go ahead and order came next day great, found to be packed in a sturdy box and foam protection... unpacked downloaded software, and plugged in scanner to my usb3 port nothing happened, so tried the other cable the and i got a blue then green light , also the software stated camera connected. then cycled through camera connected and disconnected having seen this in the past i new straight away usb 3 could not provide enough power, so back to amazon looking for a split cable power and data through 2 separate cables, and i found that revopoint does the splitter to seperate the inputs...mobile connecter sent for it next day . mobile connecter arrived and connected the scanner i cable to a power supply 2A and the other into my usb3 port , the camera started and stayed connected and i was away scanning no problems. this scanner is ideal for what i want i have since purchased phone holder and led light. to anyone considering buying the scanner don't provide neg feedback not working until you get the mobile connector you will surprised. great product (don't supply neg feedback if not working may need mobile connecter) getting scans for my 3d printer and resin printer.. i have no problem recommending this item

It’s not until you set the scanner up that you realise this will NOT work out of the box, There is no way a USB 3 connection on your PC will supply enough power to keep it running You need to purchase the cable that allows it to be used with a mobile phone and power bank (£40), then you find that you need a USB C to USB A 3 adaptor to connect that power bank cable to your PC. Once if you do finally get it working you then need a turntable to put the supplied figure head bust on so you can scan it, scanning said figure takes a lot of practice and time to get anywhere near good enough to export to a 3D printer file. After you’ve spent all that time and money there is near to zero things you can scan unless you have a black sheet of plastic ( supplied with scanner) to carry around with you, a spray can of dry shampoo together with your turntable. What I’m saying here is these scanners are far from good enough to scan objects without a lot of faffing around and enormous amounts of time. People show how fantastic their scans are that they’ve done ( I wonder how many are sponsored by Revopoint) Don’t be fooled into how easy it is

Very easy to set up and once the software was downloaded and installed, the scanner worked straight away. VERY easy to use and scans perfectly. Really pleased. I would advise using AESUB Blue - Modern Disappear 3D Scanning Spray to scan shiny/reflective or very dark products.

The scanner is not fit for purpose, the usb drive that came with it was blank and they also included a bin linear as a background for scanning! Fails to work with the majority of USB 3.0 ports. Miss tracks all the time not sure how they managed there promotion video to show the details of the scan as this was not visible on any of the scans i tried.

I think this little 3d scanner is going to be something special, I haven't got it fully to scan everything only because I haven't read everything about it, I was so excited to try it out and try I did, great scanner so far I did a quick scan and this is what I did ,I think once I get it fully set up and I've ordered a rotating plate to help it should make excellent scans, bit high on the price side but cheaper than alot, what can I say I want something cheap 😀 but overall 5 stars for quality and buld

Scanning objects is easy enough and the results are very good. Be mindful of reflective and dark surfaces and workaround accordingly - dusting with baby powder and/or adjusting the gain in the software works wonders. Heads take a little patience and practice, but you can get fantastic results, especially if you have a swivel chair. I'm really impressed. The software does a good job of piecing together the scan data even when it might look like the person is gonna have 4 eyes and 3 noses. Top marks, I'm hooked.

Good little scanner for the price. Level of detail seems good with non-shiney items. Even slightly reflective items seem to need spraying in a Matt colour before the scanner will pick them up well. The software is basic but does the job. I am still learning and getting used to it, but it does seem like a great scanner for the price.

Really not great , hard to find a sweet spot , software truly is awful, no chance of scanning anything by hand, and static items can be small only , on a rotating bed with mount on a tripod only. Tech needs to improve

Lamentablemente, mi experiencia con el Pop 3D Escáner no fue la mejor, y finalmente tuve que devolverlo. Aunque las especificaciones prometían una alta precisión de 0,3 mm y 8 fps, en la práctica no cumplió con mis expectativas. La calidad de escaneo no fue tan detallada como esperaba, y en varias ocasiones el escáner tuvo dificultades para capturar objetos más complejos o con superficies brillantes. Además, la configuración e instalación resultaron más complicadas de lo que anticipaba, y la portabilidad, que era uno de los principales atractivos, no compensó las dificultades de uso. Aunque podría funcionar para proyectos menos exigentes, no lo recomendaría si buscas un escaneo realmente preciso y eficiente. En resumen, el Pop 3D no cumplió con mis expectativas y tuve que devolverlo. Consideraría otras opciones si necesitas resultados profesionales.

Consiglio questo prodotto a chiunque si approccia per la prima volta nel settore dello scanner 3D e della modellazione. E' incluso il programma molto semplice e intuitivo da utilizzare.

Ich habe den Scanner zum ausprobieren gekauft. Ich muss sagen das er, mit etwas Übung, sehr brauchbare Ergebnisse liefert. Die Auflösung ist für meine Zwecke hoch genug und auch die dazugehörige Software ist sehr gut. Ich habe bisher hauptsächlich modellbau Teile gescannt, sowie allerhand Spielzeug. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass der Scanner zwar sehr gut funktioniert, und hervorragende Ergebnisse erziehlt, man aber ohne Übung und Geduld nicht sehr weit kommen wird. Der Support ist freundlich und schnell. Antwort meist über Nacht wegen der Zeitverschiebung. Aber die Beratung ist top und sehr ausführlich. Alles in allem 5 Sterne von mir

Après avoir utilisé un scanner 3D Makerbot Digitizer depuis 2013, je suis vraiment impressionné par la précision et la rapidité du Revopoint Pop. La possibilité de pouvoir digitaliser un objet massif à l'extérieur est un atout important aussi. Il faut avoir tout de même une bonne dose de patience et de persévérance pour avoir un résultat adéquat mais ça en vaut la peine.

Je voulais un scanner pour reproduire des figurines ou des miniatures (voitures, motos ). Celui-ci est rapide, précis, facile d'utilisation (bien plus pratique que la photogramétrie )
