Should be taught in schools
This book is entertaining and easy to read.. it’s not a boring book on investing. It makes sense of complicated subject and has totally changed my view on how I invest. This should be taught in schools as most adults are lost when I comes to how to manage their money and grow wealth. Well done and thanks to Andrew Hallam.

Excellent guide for international expats
As a long time expat I found this very useful on a number of fronts. Whilst there's aspects that any savvy investor might already know, this book encompasses a holistic framework, covering all bases (some of which I would not have put together myself). Useful suggestions around companies / advisors to consider. I've since read all of Andrew's other books and currently enjoying Balance. A must read for expats trying to thread it all together (an under-served sector where there are plenty wolves to avoid).

An expat essential
I cannot recommend this book enough to expats looking for simple, factual investment advice. As expats, we are often sitting ducks for ill-advised or unqualified financial advisors to exploit. This book is truly empowering, enlightening and cuts through the industry jargon. No more BS, no more expensive gambles with your hard earned savings, this book will equip you to take control. Andrew is an industry disrupter and I for one am grateful for it!

Great Information
Good I sight from someone who knows exactly what they’re talking about. Some parts are hard to follow, knowing nothing about finance, but this is a great start!

Clear, practical and accessible
Andrew Hallam makes a compelling case for practical and patient hands-off investing. His advice, it turns out, was just what we were looking for. I highly recommend this book to Canadian (and other) expats looking to make sense of the barrage of investment advice coming our way.

The single book you need to read on finance and investing. Yes, it’s that good!
The majority of investment books are mostly catering for an American audience. Millionaire Expat tackles the topic with the perspective of people living overseas, which is applicable for those living in the Middle East, Asia, etc...In his book, Andrew does not pull any punches when it comes to naming and shaming the financial sharks that are taking advantage of unsuspecting expats and wrecking havoc on their financial future. Here’s what you’ll learn in this book:✅ Grow wealth over time using the compounding magic of the stock market without any effort or prior knowledge.✅ How global investors are being fooled into buying expensive offshore saving plans.✅ Don't try to outsmart the market. Because just can't.✅ Couch potato investing: how to implement a passive index investing strategy.✅ Choosing your offshore brokerage.✅ Sample portfolio models for expats of various nationalities

A great book full of fantastic advice. Andrew's book has given us some direction on how we can feel finally secure after being Expats for nearly 2 decades and watching our investments drop like raindrops during a flood.

Great for future expats & digital nomads
I learned more about the stock market and investing than some youtube videos by reading this book. Also, I enjoyed learning about the different countries and the facts/opinions the author shared about each country. This is a must read for any person desiring to retire early, move abroad, work remotely, or travel often. After reading this book and also taking time to explore my skills, I've learned what my passion is and now by reading this book, I have created a plan for myself & began committing more to invest in myself and future than I ever did before.Awesome read!!!!
