I love it. The electric arc lights all kinds of candles quicker than a flame can do it. I have tested it for firing paper and it works for that too. I bought three of these as gifts for Xmas but I kept one for myself as I just loved it. I gave the last one as gift to someone on New Year's Eve but it was defective. I then wrote an email to that effect to the seller the following day, which was New Year day and, to my complete surprise, I received an answer ten minutes later! The whole issue has been solved the same day, on January 1st! A free new lighter has been shipped to me and the seller has reimbursed me for custom fees and taxes (Canada)! What an impressive quality service! I would give six stars if I could!I am so pleased that I just ordered two additional of these candle lighters to give as future hostess gifts.

I bought it exactly one year ago - I use it probably weekly on average and it just went dead today. There was no spark - green light flashes briefly indicating needing recharge, and after a few hours of recharging (after the charging greenlight turns off), the lighting button still will not work. While it was working, I really liked it. It was convenient. The protection cover is very helpful and the hook is nice. I will try getting one from another brand to see if it'll last longer.

Pros:No gas to refill. (Simply recharge using supplied USB cable).Safety cover on the switch to avoid accidental ignitions.I can barely hear it while in use.Cons:Despite manufacturer's claim "...made of strong aluminum..." it still looks cheap and some parts are made of plastic.Not very ideal to ignite stoves or pilots.Does not come with a charger.*UPDATE* Sunday Jan-22-2017One full charge lasted 42 days (Usage: Ignited four candles each day).Quality is okay (After a month, it still looks and works like new)

These work really well, very reliable and effective. We bought this one and it worked great for 2 months then wouldn'tcharge. I wrote a review and they immediately reached out and sent me a new one so far that one is working great. My only complaint is that they need a better way to contact them I had to write a review to get in touch.

Received the product in time, and it was packaged nicely, as described.The lighter had a few small dents and nicks on it (was it used?). I plugged it in and the charging light only came on for a few moments, then it turned off. I kept it plugged in, charging for 24 hours, as directe4d. It never worked. Maybe I got a "lemon", maybe I didn't.I liked the idea of a butane-free lighter, but I wouldn't recommend this one. Sticking with my zippo.

When my first Spparx lighter quit working, I was only able to receive a full refund from Amazon. While that was appreciated, I really wanted my Spparx lighter to recharge and work. I contacted the seller and they sent me out a charger (which had for some reason not been included with the original lighter). When the lighter still didn't work, they replaced the lighter and now I have a beautiful Spparx lighter conveniently and elegantly placed in the guest bathroom next to a beautiful candle. All of my guests comment on how cool the Spparx lighter is and confess they light the candle just because they want to try the lighter!I appreciate a seller who subscribes to great customer service makes an already awesome product even better!

I love this thing. Got one for my mom last Christmas to help her use her busted stove ignition. Got her over her fear of fire and trsditional lighters and saves a lot of money on the disposable or refillable ones. Sadly, this Christmas a guest washed it. So I had to buy another and will buy another if/when another guest thinks theyre helping. XDGreat item! Will buy again.

Works great! I've had it for about three months now and just charged it for the first time. I love using it to light candles and incense! It's narrow and long and can be used at any angle, so it's perfect for any candles in tricky places. It's so much better knowing I can use this long-term rather than throwing away a bunch of plastic disposable lighters.
